  • Saw jersey boys on braodway... So good!!!

  • "Joe Pesci... yeah... THAT Joe Pesci..." -Tommy DeVito, 1960

  • chills up my spine

  • Yeah, at first glance, maybe he could be in the movie, but don't think he can sing like Jarrod. Say it last year and loved it.

  • I think thats Steve Carrel

  • For folks who don't like musicals...this is not a musical. It's a fast paced play that depicts the true story of how these guys created such a unique sound & successfully survived the "British Invasion" with hit after hit. And they perform their hit songs throughout the play. You just want to get up on the stage with them and sing along.

  • @meems914 you are so right--saw play in October and i'm going to see it again in february and bringing my daughter who is an entertainer--cant wait--jarrod spector was great

  • Great show!

  • 20 people don't know how many people dont love them

  • I had no idea that Steve Carell was such a good singer

  • Still blows me away. This is a fantastic show

  • I saw the Australian show in Sydney yesterday and it was much better. This guy seems nervous.

  • did u like when daddy put one in yo ass jersey sluTS cuZZ

  • not usually a big fan of musicals/plays.... but this show simply blew me away! The moment it ended I was depressed because I wanted it to start over again immediately.

  • 1:30 for the singing.

  • I don't recall the cast but I saw it on Broadway with my mom and aunt. It was a great show from begining to end. Everyone in the theather was on their feet singing and dancing.. This is was a great night

  • LOVED the show! Not the show for a person who hates cursing lol.

  • Nice tribute show to the REAL Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.... but there's NOTHING like the real thing in my book!

These "Jersey Boys" are very good.... but NOT the REAL thing.

  • @MignonB1 The show isn't a tribute show, its the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with various musical numbers. They are re-telling how the group came to be, and what made everything happen! Give the show a chance its amazing!

  • This guys is good but not as good as the guys thats performing Frankie valli now. Just saw Jersey Boys 2 weeks ago and his voice is a dead ringer of Frankie V. Go see it if you haven't. P.s. The show I am talking about is on Broadway NYC.

  • Their silouette at the end is fucking epic.

  • I saw this show for the first time on Tour in Dallas and fell in love with it instantly. I just love the finale number so much! It makes me feel so happy and like everything's gonna work out :)

  • I love Joseph Leo Bwarie. He is phenomenal on tour.....and Matt Bailey is amazing as Tommy Devito

  • @pb4ugo012 matt bailey was UNREAL as tommy!

  • john lloyd young is definitely the best

  • What songs do they Jersey Boys perform on that show?

  • I like the drum beat at the end better on the cd recording... but otherwise awesome

  • does anyone else think that bob gaudio is really sexy for an old guy?

  • I just saw the musical in Las Vegas and pretty much enjoyed it. The actors were great and the songs were irresistible.

  • The one from Appleton is the only one from all of these posting is the best he sounded so much like him!! Made me fall in love with the 4 seasons all over again!!

  • @theonlyauntieleelee Joseph Leo Bwarie? 100% agree. You should purchase Joey's brand new debut album Nothin' But Love. You can buy it off iTunes or the CD and cover from his website. I can send you more info if you are interested! :)

  • saw this in london, Best show i have ever seen! Only a mater of time before it becomes a film..

  • the guy that plays frankie valli the best and sounds the best is the one from the Jersey boys Las Vegas!

  • lead singer is ok...but Ryan Molloy really captures the sound/look of Frankie Valli IMHO....

  • sorry to say it folks but i have seen both shows and i am from utah but no offence the brits with that ryan guy in lead win hands down sorry folks but thats my opinion to which i am free to state

  • The best show i have ever seen!

  • 19 people clearly don't know how to walk like a man.

  • Just saw this show in Baltimore for its closing weekend in Maryland!!!

It was fantastic. BEST SHOW EVER!!!!

  • 1:24 ✯✯✯✯✯

  • this guy is good but jarrod spector is deff better

  • Thanks Hampshire kid, not all British people suck !!!!!!!

  • I just saw this last night in Baltimore, and all i can say is... FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! I wish i could see it every night!!!

  • Right now, the two best shows on Broadway in NYC, happen to be directly across the street from each other: RAIN - A Tribute To The Beatles and JERSEY BOYS.

  • son: mom can i kill 19 people

    mom: for what?? no way!!!

son: but they dont like jersey boys

    mom: GO GET MY GUN!!!!!!

  • 18 people don't like jersey

  • Is it me or does John Lloyd Young look like Vice President Biden?! haha He is really great as Frankie Valli!!

  • OMG how nerve wracking to have Frankie Bobbie and Tommy there and perform...and he nails it 100%...thanks for uploading. Does anyone know if/where I can find a copy of The Four Seasons induction to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 1990?

  • Sorrrrry but London Jersey Boys is unbeatable ..

  • j robert spencer is like the best actor of all time!

  • he looks like Steve Carell

  • Saw this video, and thought. Actual Jersey Boys footage! WOW must just be "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE"

  • There's a certain grittiness that Young has that I haven't seen in any of the other Frankies. I really, REALLY enjoy that :D

  • @dannyplouffe too bad you spelled valli wrong

  • @dannyplouffe He's not gay. He was married

  • I hope he is in the movie version when it comes out!

  • They did an amazing job.

  • @Picardy Because it's often the closest some English kid like me can get. I must admit I prefer the London cast atm though.

  • Of all the " Frankies", JLY is still my favorite, with Jarrod Spector #2. What voices, & talent. Wolfsky9

  • What's Joe Pesci doing up there???

  • @xman4un Sir, If you know the story, it was Joe who intro'd the young Frank Castellucio to Tommy DeVito, & the rest--is history. For Sure! Wolfsky9, 64 y/o & anhother nice Italian Boy.

  • @xman4un Joe pesci hooked them up with their 4th guy bob gaudio who wrote a lot of the songs.

  • @xman4un Joe pesci hooked them up with their 4th guy bob gaudio who wrote a lot of the songs.

  • @ImFlyingPaperPlanes Yes ! We might not have had the real jersey boys there also, but WOW the actors were good.

  • Is it just me, it does it feel like they recycled this set into the set of Next to Normal?

  • I've seen a lot of shows, I've seen Million Dollar Quartet, Wicked, Memphis, and lots of other broadway shows in New York and I've seen Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, Billy Elliot and others in London, but Jersey Boys continues to be my favorite, for some reason it has this great energy and the show is just so good it can't ever get old, and I still get goosebumps on the last note of Who Loves You....I hope it runs for a very long time. and that they make a video of the show :P

  • Does he normally sing like that or is he channeling Frankie Valli?

  • @jariika I think those are all their real voices

  • @annabananna789 I figured, but i was wondering if that's he's normal style... 'cause he doesn't sound like that on gLee and i was just wondering about his voice...

  • @jariika

considering he is playing the role of Frankie in this, sounding like him is a bit of a given Id have thought...he possibly spent months and months trying to emulate the sound

  • i saw it when it first came out in 2005 in manhattan and have seen a few plays since then...nothing has come even CLOSE to it.

  • I gotta say Jeff madden is the best frankie vali :)

  • @ledzeppelin104 i love your name!

  • This was the night I first saw any of the show, and I knew I HAD to see it. Finally, on July 29th of this year, I SAW IT!! What a fabulous show!! Nobody ever had, or will have, the sound of the Four Seasons.

  • Awesome play, I'm sorry to say though that John Lloyd Young has kinda list his edge as Frankie Valli....Jeff Madden of Toronto is where it's at!!!

  • You can tell how easily he commands the stage.

  • God, i loved this musical, i just saw it on sunday and man, i was just blown away! I couldnt stop clapping after the finale and the whole crowd was on their feet, it felt like it went on for like 10 minutes, lol

  • 3:28, dont care what you say, Ryan Molloy does that speech better, i dont want get in a turf war, both are fantastic actors and perfect for the role, but that just doesnt sound as Frankie-like as Ryan's voice.

  • saw jersey boys in Buffalo a couple of months ago..... it was great!!

  • @ImFlyingPaperPlanes I know, seriously!!!!!!

  • Saw the "Jersey Boys" last night in Vegas. Wonderful!

  • I saw this on broadway on april 2nd with my high school's theatre. I must say, this show was AMAZING. I wasn't that familiar with the music, but i knew of it. I fell in love with this show and i got my mom obessed with it as well! Were going to go again to see it soon.Fantastic show!

  • i no im only young but i love the jersey boys i even went to there concert in melboure i love them so much

  • who's the guy talking?

  • @goodefilms its joe pesci, if you've seen the musical you might remember he was part of the four seasons' formation

  • These guys are great ! Went to see the show last year it makes me sad I remember those years so well and all the great songs they had

  • too bad nick massi died in 2000 :(

  • Such a fantastic musical. Reminds me of Fiorello. Great job!!

  • God bless you cole porter

  • I've seen the London, broadway and Toronto performances and I have to say the one that blew me away was Toronto.

  • @ledzeppelin104 i watched the one in toronto, oh my goodness that was breath taking!!! amazing!

  • i think londons one is the best

  • London's was...outstanding. Greatest show of my life.

  • London one is the Best i assure you, i am not joking, it makes the others look shit

  • @ZillaVictorious not the original...nothing beats the actual broadway show, sorry.

  • I've seen all of the professional performances of Jersey Boys (never got old :D) and i have to say, the best was Toronto, with a very close second of Broadway

  • A little same of the show. See it. I think I'm going at least one more time.

  • Simply said the John Lloyd Young is the best!

  • I'm sorry but this is THE best show on broadway and anywhere.

  • @mikeyface13 Amen! I totally and fully agree!

  • You should check out Ryan Malloy playing Franki he is sensational.

  • I went to two Jersey Boys shows in Chicago, 2 years ago and 2 months ago. They were both phenomenal!

  • Great show. I wouldn't consider it a musical, however. I'd say it was more a play about music, as the songs only furthered the plot in two points. One of which was a 20 second reprise.

  • @KronoZero yeah it's a lot like the Buddy... except better haha

  • I sort of know what you mean, but they make the music a lot more relevant to the story than you imply.

Still, it's definitely a jukebox musical which is a different animal than a typical musical. I'd normally consider it inferior to other musicals, but this one is just done so well.

  • a couple of nights ago I saw Jersey Boys with Joseph Leo Bwarie as Frankie and he's alot better than this guy

  • I saw it Tuesay night with Joseph Leo Bwarie, and he was great. BUT you can't say he was better than John Lloyd Young based solely on this video clip. After all, JLY did win the Tony that year :]

  • I know, right? I saw Joseph Leo Bwarie the other night and he was AMAZING! But holds nothing to JLY! He is awesome!

  • all the actors that play frankie look like steve carrel!

  • Wonderful. And at the beginning of the video Bob Gaudio is still looking great.

  • If there is only one thing I like about Jersey...

  • Best Play Ever

  • I <3 Jersey Boys it is funny, sad, emotional, and overly entertaining

  • Best Cast Ever.

  • this is my favorite song and part of the whole show. LOVE JERSEY BOYS!!

  • i've seen it twice in New york both times it was amazing

  • great show.loved it

  • I'm not the one saying we're brainwashed for liking this video. Take your problems up with Steacy783.

  • I took my mom to see this on Broadway... What an experience. I don't think anyone walked away disappointed. the music is great and timeless

  • joe pesci wot a legend and brilliant actor

  • yeah home alone really did him credit

  • @JewCrew2 ... Goodfellas, Casino, My Cousin Vinny, Lethal Weapon, Raging Bull.. You come up with Home Alone???

  • @zachary4189 hey home alone is awesome

  • Yea, that wasn't a knock on Home Alone. I was stating that he was in plenty of movies better than Home Alone and that was the first that came to his mind.

  • @zachary4189 How can anyone forget Goodfellas?!?

  • @zachary4189 hahahahahahahaha

  • These guys are awesome. This video is my 2nd favourite Jersey Boys one. The London group at the Palladium is my favourite.

The girls in the background are really great too. They add a special dimension to the show.

  • omg i totally agree, i thought that the guy who played bobby was a doll.

  • I agree! I actually bumped into him while I was walkin thru the lobby at the theater and didnt even realize it, til i saw some other ladies being all excited to see him. But he is so cute.
