They carry on the English Mega Group Lineage from... The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Cure etc etc and more recently with Coldplay and Muse...

@budwhite1 How can you bundle Muse and Coldplay with the likes of Radiohead and The Beatles. Coldplay are good for a modern day pop/rock band but Muse are extremely overrated. Neither bands has produced a "masterpiece album" The Beatles accomplished 5 and Radiohead 2 (OK and Kid A)

Muse's 1st album is a masterpiece, although the others aren't as good i guess...

1 Radiohead

5 Led Zepplin

@budwhite1 They are not, the thing with those bands is they mean so much to a whole generation and are long lasting, the Clash the only band I favour above Radiohead, I just don't think that in 30 years time that Coldplay will be as long lived. But anyway, we all agree that Radiohead are immense. :)
