@aguamenti20 well to further correct you... only the Urdu language structure is based, that too partially, on hindi. It is mostly a blend of Persian, Arabic and Turkish...

Mr. "Khamosh Tamashai" we might not have heard your voice because you are "Khamosh" but your Qalam (Pen) is quite powerful and speaks well for you. it’s very difficult to translate Urdu Shairy especially this excellent piece of Hafeez Sb's Kalaam like this. Very good work done.... I must say.

@atifhasan79 a small correction - Keh raha hai JOSH-e dariya se samandar ka SUKOOT hai. Jis mein jitna zarf hai woh utna khamosh hai. (Sukoot means quietude, calmness, silence). hope u do not mind.

There is a typo at 5:25. The word should be فِزا , not فِضا . Both are pronounced as "fizaa". The former (فِزا) means (a thing which) increases and it is Persian/Farsi, whereas the latter (فِضا) means atmosphere or open space and it is Arabic. My thanks to the brother who pointed it out. Sorry that I could not fix it before.

@KhamoshTamashai Thanks for this amazing video! I'm a native Hindi speaker and have just started learning Urdu. I've reached the point where I know all the letters but my reading speed is VERY slow and I can't understand most Perso-Arabic loan words. Videos like this with scrolling text in Urdu being slowly sung with subtitles in case I don't get a word are perfect for practice! And I'll agree with atsporty, it's like rap but with an amazing philosophical style!
