@babipassion25 I agree, there is no 3 different Gods, but rather God in 3 different ways. The trinity is shown all throughout the bible, a good example would be when Jesus was baptized. A dove landed on his shoulder, the heavens were opened and God spoke. Here you see the trinity in one time. Then i read the bible and I found contradictions, mistranslation, different versions, rape condoned, slavery condoned, human sacrifice condoned anti women.... And couldn't rationalize anymore And if you watch alot of theses things about people seeing God. People report seeing Krishna, seeing Buddha, seeing Allah in their dreams and so forth...God is everywhere

Why are fallible men handling the bibles interpretations. Some translations take out entire sentences, and re-arrange it. RIDICULOUS. How come the Quaran doesn't have crazy contrary translations, when it has the same ancient language issue?

If you want to read the Bible, then do it with a humble heart. Read especially the four Gospels. It is true there are different versions: translating from the ancient languages was not easy! With time, people have had a better understanding of some parts of the Bible, so it has been re-published many times.

@StrollSurvey The "contradictions" occur when people misunderstand the true meaning of the Scriptures. Many of the Scriptures ARE difficult to understand. Very often, the real meaning lies hidden below the face value of the words.
I often ask a priest to explain certain Scriptures; then I see that it is in harmony with all the other teachings I have learnt to date.
God doesn't make mistakes or contradictions, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We cannot expect to understand everything!

I heard a women say she met "christ" but He wasnt Jesus or concerned about a religious belief. He is omnipotent and omnipresent, meaning he could be on earth as the Son and in heaven as the father in one expression of time; he is the master of time. I have heard and seen so many testimonies throughout my life and this is the best one so far! It means a lot to me since once a Muslim decides to be a Christian they leave everything behind, including their family. I can't imagine how hard that must be, but they love God so much that they would do it and that tells a lot about who they are, and who they can be. Also, I was asking God right now at 5:00a.m., how can you be a man and God, and after this testimony it makes sense! He can do that too!
You must believe in the trinity, but if you do. You have to believe they are all one as well.. We are Christians. Why are you arguing? Jesus said that if we are divided then we can't stand. Jesus is not God! Jesus was the Son of God! He came to do the will of his Father. Did he not? He is sitting on the right hand of God in heaven. I have no doubt this man's testimony was real, but he gives a little false teaching here. According to the scripture, Jesus is not God. He is the Son of God.
@krazykyle56 I thought the same as you before and when i used to hear people mention Jesus is God , i thought they were wrong here, but i was wrong because i did not understand what the trinity and never read the Bible. God is the father, the son and the holy spirit. Jesus is the son. Not biological son, but in fellowship with the father, and the holy spirit. not 3 gods, but one God with 3 different personalities, but with one essence. I hope i might have made it a little bit clear.

It's a very interesting situation here... Jesus LITERALLY sits on the right hand of the Father; and is the mediator between God and man - the connection between humankind and the Godhead. But in the mystery that IS the Godhead, Jesus IS ALSO God - not MERELY his Son. He is God the Father's manifestation of HIMSELF to us. If you SEARCH the scriptures you will see that Jesus was the CREATOR, the ROCK of water that travelled in the wilderness and the ANGEL who spoke to Abraham.
Really, even if the scriptures were in flashing neon lights - and there are MANY - it all boils down to simply BELIEVING what they say. To try and rationalise that Jesus couldn't be God because he has a different body from the Father is understandable, because we only have human thinking. But God can do ANYTHING! Nothing is too hard for him. If He wants to have a person to represent him, then that's His call... We just have to accept it and believe in Jesus as God. Blessings

Christ wasn't talking about himself when he talks about the Father.

The verses in my last reply are clearly talking about Jesus, and refer to Him as "the Word" and say also that "the Word was God"; the One who made the world. Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Ghost are 1 entity represented by three different parts/purposes. It's like an orange. The orange has 3 parts w/ different functions; the seeds, mantle, & skin. They still = 1, single orange. Jesus is the Creator in God incarnate. We aren't meant to grasp everything, only believe the Word!
@Joee1947 If we know Christ, then we also know the Father. But the scriptures make it clear that they are two separate entities. They agree in one, but are separate. The Father raised the Son from the grave. The Son didn't raise himself. It can be a little confusing I know, but it's the truth.

A conversion, is always a nice story. but it proves nothing. If conversions are the measure of credibility of a religion, than, for the moment, Islam is the most credible one. Conversions happen in all directions, and for all kinds of reasons. I do hope this guy is happy in his life.

@ndzoko - Yes, sadly you're right about Hell. The Bible makes it clear that the road to Heaven is very narrow and that many are called but few are chosen. Sadly most souls reject Christ. God the Father has done all he can by giving His Son to save us. If you reject that gift, which most people do, it's your choice not God's. God has made the way of Salvation.. Sadly you're right many upon many will choose Hell instead of Christ. God does not desire this but that's what people choose.

I watched recently on T.V.an interview with an Anglican Bishop. Somebody in the audience asked> Monsignor do you believe there is something beyond the grave, and if so what evidence do you have ? He replied> I don`t know if there is an afterlife. I believe in the eternal love of god. He will take care of this problem.

A valley close to Jerusalem were garbage was dumbed, even the bodies of the unclean , The picture of hell, that modern christians have, is a product of the imagination of Dante. God the Father sent Christ the Son to die of all sinners, homosexuals, sorcerers, disobedient, etc., so what's the problem? God actually destroyed the unjust with the flood, and famin, etc., The new testament states that those who do those things will not inherit the Kingdom of God which leaves only one place to go, Hell. A dove landed on his shoulder, the heavens were opened and God spoke. Here you see the trinity in one time. (God in the form of man or Jesus, the dove signifying the Holy Spirit and Gods voice from heaven.

@trofrom Trinity is 3 persons that are distinct yet coexist in unity, are co-equal, co-eternal, which is why they say "God The Father, God The Son and God the Holy Spirit". 3 different Gods that make up One. I believe in apolstolic oneness. There is only One God and he can be seen in 3 forms but He is the same one. John 8:58 He calls himself "I am" which is what God is called in the OT, which is known as "The Father". In the original language it's not Holy "spirit", it's breath. God's breath.

I love that part where he gets afraid in the presence of his holiness. It just shows that without the Blood none can stand in the presence of God. I love this testimony. Any Muslim who is worshipping Allah in spirit and truth will always come to Jesus, any body who really loves God always must find Jesus somehow someway. "Ye have believed in God so believe in me". Any Buddhist really seeking the truth must come to Jesus. The sheep hear his voice. This man was a sheep and he heard his voice.

Christians as I am one from a really Christian Church, an apostolic, born again, Acts 2:38, oneness Church, we believe Jesus is the only and ONE true and living God. There are organizations like the Roman Catholics who suggest they are Christians but, they do not follow the teachings of Christ and believe in three parts to God, real Christians do not.

If you want to read the Bible, then do it with a humble heart. Read especially the four Gospels. It is true there are different versions: translating from the ancient languages was not easy! With time, people have had a better understanding of some parts of the Bible, so it has been re-published many times.

@StrollSurvey The "contradictions" occur when people misunderstand the true meaning of the Scriptures. Many of the Scriptures ARE difficult to understand. Very often, the real meaning lies hidden below the face value of the words.
I often ask a priest to explain certain Scriptures; then I see that it is in harmony with all the other teachings I have learnt to date.
God doesn't make mistakes or contradictions, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We cannot expect to understand everything!

I heard a women say she met "christ" but He wasnt Jesus or concerned about a religious belief. But the love that God speaks of, and the "love" that humans often show are two very different things. If you read Corinthians 1, 1 -13, we find out about the kind of love that God means. Certainly not the Angel, because they are ministering spirits and do not create. Or, the LORD said to my LORD, Who is this other LORD? I have heard and seen so many testimonies throughout my life and this is the best one so far! It means a lot to me since once a Muslim decides to be a Christian they leave everything behind, including their family. I can't imagine how hard that must be, but they love God so much that they would do it and that tells a lot about who they are, and who they can be. Also, I was asking God right now at 5:00a.m., how can you be a man and God, and after this testimony it makes sense! He can do that too!

Jesus is not God! Jesus was the Son of God! He came to do the will of his Father. Did he not? He is sitting on the right hand of God in heaven. I have no doubt this man's testimony was real, but he gives a little false teaching here. According to the scripture, Jesus is not God. He is the Son of God.

@krazykyle56 I thought the same as you before and when i used to hear people mention Jesus is God , i thought they were wrong here, but i was wrong because i did not understand what the trinity and never read the Bible. God is the father, the son and the holy spirit. Jesus is the son. Not biological son, but in fellowship with the father, and the holy spirit. not 3 gods, but one God with 3 different personalities, but with one essence. I hope i might have made it a little bit clear.

John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Jesus IS God - the image of the Father. Dig out the truth of it from the Word of God. Don't limit Jesus to your own understanding. Blessings!

@Joee1947 Jesus was probably referring to his spirit. The Father and the Son are one in that they agree in one, but they are not the same literally. I too saw Isaiah 9:6 not too long ago and it is a little weird to me. I'm sure you could find some better understanding with that verse.

It's a very interesting situation here... Jesus LITERALLY sits on the right hand of the Father; and is the mediator between God and man - the connection between humankind and the Godhead. But in the mystery that IS the Godhead, Jesus IS ALSO God - not MERELY his Son. He is God the Father's manifestation of HIMSELF to us. If you SEARCH the scriptures you will see that Jesus was the CREATOR, the ROCK of water that travelled in the wilderness and the ANGEL who spoke to Abraham.

Really, even if the scriptures were in flashing neon lights - and there are MANY - it all boils down to simply BELIEVING what they say. To try and rationalise that Jesus couldn't be God because he has a different body from the Father is understandable, because we only have human thinking. But God can do ANYTHING! Nothing is too hard for him. If He wants to have a person to represent him, then that's His call... We just have to accept it and believe in Jesus as God. Blessings

1 John 2:23 - Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Christ wasn't talking about himself when he talks about the Father.

The verses in my last reply are clearly talking about Jesus, and refer to Him as "the Word" and say also that "the Word was God"; the One who made the world. Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Ghost are 1 entity represented by three different parts/purposes. It's like an orange. The orange has 3 parts w/ different functions; the seeds, mantle, & skin. They still = 1, single orange. Jesus is the Creator in God incarnate. We aren't meant to grasp everything, only believe the Word!

@Joee1947 If we know Christ, then we also know the Father. But the scriptures make it clear that they are two separate entities. They agree in one, but are separate. The Father raised the Son from the grave. The Son didn't raise himself. It can be a little confusing I know, but it's the truth.

A conversion, is always a nice story. but it proves nothing. If conversions are the measure of credibility of a religion, than, for the moment, Islam is the most credible one. Conversions happen in all directions, and for all kinds of reasons. I do hope this guy is happy in his life.

As for what I believe; Billy Graham has no authority over the word of God. JESUS said "I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by me" John 14:6
I will never hold the word of ANY man over the words of Christ. That is a dangerous thing to do!

@ndzoko - Yes, sadly you're right about Hell. The Bible makes it clear that the road to Heaven is very narrow and that many are called but few are chosen. Sadly most souls reject Christ. God the Father has done all he can by giving His Son to save us. If you reject that gift, which most people do, it's your choice not God's. God has made the way of Salvation.. Sadly you're right many upon many will choose Hell instead of Christ. God does not desire this but that's what people choose.

I watched recently on T.V.an interview with an Anglican Bishop. Somebody in the audience asked> Monsignor do you believe there is something beyond the grave, and if so what evidence do you have ? He replied> I don`t know if there is an afterlife. I believe in the eternal love of god. He will take care of this problem.

A valley close to Jerusalem were garbage was dumbed, even the bodies of the unclean , The picture of hell, that modern christians have, is a product of the imagination of Dante. You can believe in " hell" or you can believe in a " loving, just, caring, forgiving, god". You can`t have then both.

@ndzoko Actually No it doesn't say that. I thought you knew the Old Testament? I've already answered that anywys. God the Father sent Christ the Son to die of all sinners, homosexuals, sorcerers, disobedient, etc., so what's the problem? God actually destroyed the unjust with the flood, and famin, etc., The new testament states that those who do those things will not inherit the Kingdom of God which leaves only one place to go, Hell. But in love he made the way out through Christ.

@1NationUnder1God3in1 The God of the Old Testamnt is the same as the God in the New Testamnt. I've studied the Bible OT & NT for 13 years now, and you? John 3:16&17 read it. God intended Hell for the devil and his angels. "God does not delight in the death of the wicked" If you die in your sins you cannot be accepted because you are defiled. Jesus needs to cover us with His perfection. Read the old testament YOU read it. Prophecy of Christ - Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, Isaiah 53, Psalm 22..and so on...
