Well i was able to save my SHSH files with TinyUmbrella

this was about 3 weeks ago now, not sure if apple is still singeing the 4.1 firmware :-/

recboot or tinyumbrella's exit recovery will not work for firmwares on 4.3.3 due to extra baseband protection by apple. There is a script on tiny umbrella that will fix the recovery exit loop error for you. Once you do all of the above and finally reach the error popup just put your phone in DFU mode again and launch the Fix Recovery 4.3 (4.2) and just wait one minute afterwards your phone will pop up and you can restore all your files as you please.

People, i don't think this works anymore if you upgraded to lion...if your phone is stuck on the recovery loop, delete the code you put in the "host" file, save, and restart the computer. Then simply restore to the newest update...that should fix it...but you won't be happy, like me:/
