  • 'Bout yer (ex-?)friend, it really bites that she doesn't talk to you anymore :( . 'Bout yer story, (clapps out loud!). 'Bout yer choice, U must follow your heart, I can't stress that enough; I might end up alone (kinda a shut-in), so I have a unique perspective on this subject, & I say follow...your...heart!! PS, Bi' is ok in my book. :) (well actually, it's all good, but not kids or critters, dats just wrong) Peace....& pants ;)P

  • How cute are you :)

  • Gosh Cara, I've had no idea. i've been wathcing your pagan/wicca/witchy vids for a long time now (from another user) and when searching Coming Out Day this vid came up. Amazing. Also thanks for helping ME in this. Lots of love from Sweden.

  • I Love this video... It made me feel great about myself! Thanks Cara!

  • @hippieways You are very welcome! Thank YOU for saying so! I'm glad you liked it.

  • I never watched this video before until you rearranged your uploads on your sidebar. I....cried. Because I'm lame. I came out to my mom when I was 15. I'm always so hesitant to tell people (mainly girls) because we become friends and then I say, "Hey, by the way..." and for some reason, they are all so arrogant that they think that means I have a crush on THEM. And THAT is why I have three friends who are girls and the rest are gay or straight men. lol

  • @charliesaysgo I realized that a LOT of people kept asking me about videos that were in playlists, so I wanted to make sure they were seen somehow, as well as the regular uploads that are not in playlists. I'm glad it was more visible. =)

And yeah, that's how my friend was. But I actually haven't had that problem with anyone else yet. I guess it's just my school being a super accepting little place.

  • This was a beautiful video, I don't know what else to say without sounding ridiculous... so know that I watched and found tears in my eyes before the end of the video. You are a well spoken young lady who I am sure touches lives, I know your videos have already touched mine.

  • Remember, There's always someone that loves you. And I'm at least one to listen! One more person for the viewers to talk to. ^^

  • This was beautiful, thank you for decided to share your story with us. I got all teary eyed!

    Also PANTS!

  • @RoseGypsie Woo!

  • Well done video! A friend of mine directed me to your video and said I had to watch it and I'm so glad I did! I just put my own coming out story online and honestly, even though I've been out for years... just retelling the story makes me feel good and gives me hope for other ones out there struggling with their own coming out. Bless!

  • @acornsrus I'm glad you did, too. =D

  • Because of this video, somewhere in world, Chuck Norris sheds a single tear and a gay star is born. PANTS!

  • @WiccanSilverDragon Baaaah why do I keep making people cry?! Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it, tears or no.

  • pants! ...or not.

    hehehe

  • @PaganFaeryGoddess EXACTLY.

  • @cutewitch772 hahaha =]

  • I was there Cara, and you were amazing! I wish that I could've participated in the die-in too, but I was in midterm study mode.

  • @BananaAnna6692 No big deal, lots of people couldn't make it. But I'm glad you came to the readings! =)

  • You are the best, I look up to you. ♥

    PANTS

  • Lol @ '' you havent been with a girl so you cant know'' thats so stupid like people know their striaght before dating anyone. People are pathetic. lol.

  • @ClaireLovesWicca Exactly the argument I normally use.

  • I believe I am bisexual, but I've never had any experiences. I still haven't told family. But my friends are ok with it.

    My boyfriends hates it though.

    Great video!

    x

  • @Pagyptsian You really don't have to have done anything to know. But in a case where it's not the norm, it did help me to "prove it" to myself, at least. My significant others have never had a problem with it, though.

    Thanks!

  • I wish I had your strength. my parents told me once that if any of their children was gay/bi that we would be disowned and my friends never wanted me to talk about it. I am now in a bad relationship with a man because thats who they liked. I have no way of supporting myself financially now because i gave up my job to move with him and I dont have any friends anymore because i'm always miserable. Thats what you get for being straight!

  • @akasha21egypt <3 No one should have to deal with that, sexuality aside.

  • Great video Cara. I hope one day I can be as strong as you are in that part of my life.

P.S. I'm pretty sure I have always worn pants during my videos.

  • @christowitch2005 Haha. I've definitely done a couple without them.

  • Hey, you're not the only one to not wear pants while filming...I'm just sayin'... LOL

Seriously though, great vid and something I know alot of people can relate to. Great to hear your coming out story as well.

  • oct 12 is national coming out day in the UK!:)

  • @mariaperiwinkle YEAH I know, do you know why that is? I couldn't find out the reason.

  • @cutewitch772 lol i really don't know. i just felt like throwing in some trivia

  • Oh my....that was really touching. Thank you for sharing. I love your energy. Blessings sister.

  • The end gave me chills and I got all misty eyed. You're just awesome, Cara. I love you. :)

  • @onrushofscenery I love you, too. =)

  • PANTS! ;)

Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to everyone! :)

  • @KacieGalyon Thank YOU for watching!

  • Great work! Very creative idea! :)

  • @tweetnes Prejudice. And yes, it would be a better world if everyone could just come out and deal with whatever prejudice came their way, but the reality is that it's still difficult in today's society. Sure, it's easier than it was, but in certain situations, it's still not as simple as "getting it over with."

  • I totally understand the part with coming up to parents, it took me so long to do it, I finally did it the day after my 25th birthday, but once I told them they said they had know for ages, honestly left me wondering who was wearing the pants in my relationship with them lol

    Definately a fantastic video :)

  • @twistedwitch Haha, that's a weird feeling. SOME of my friends now tell me they can tell. Someone this year asked if I was a lesbian because I "give off lesbian vibes," and some of my students said they could tell I wasn't straight. I guess the more comfortable I am with myself, the easier it is to tell. But I'm not sure. =P Congrats on finally getting there!

  • @cutewitch772 thanx hun, in the end the only person i really wanted acceptance from was myself and when i finally got that everything was alot easier :) i did a talk on Eros yesterday and i think it really solidified who i am and where i belong in my world, many hugs to you gorgeous witch :)
