  • they arewalls of an ancient city 5000 years ago as well as williams canyon and red rocks

  • @fishmonkey420 That's not what I was told during the three days in a row when I came to The Garden of the Gods. I don't know, maybe they just released it though because I was there early December 2010. Is it true?

  • @AustriaRollerblading acualy idk every time im in the mountains near there the rock formations are insaine and look as if people built them and i found this place by the gold mine were this giant rock looks like a building with a dome on top and hollow inside. i just thought of them being buildings walking through and i thought it was cool. but mother nature has some crazys ways of doing that stuff,.

  • people who do not like this music are accustom to the dirty pop music with a lot of bad worlds

u know human nature , change the love do dirt

  • i went horseback riding there with my great grandmother who was visiting from california and my mom. it was a great ride

  • Nice slide show of Garden of the Gods! I currently live right next to it, so I see it all the time. Oh, and I like the music you picked for this slideshow!

  • @mrprogrock1178

Oh, here it is! Thank you so much for the nice comment!

  • Colorado Springs is the backbone of Political Corruption and Corporate Greed, it's time to tell the whole story about Colorado Springs

  • by far the worst music. EVER.

  • To @creative36

Well, I guess we are all allowed to have our own opinion. Many people like this music.

    :-)

  • @angelstar22

No they don't. They are just humoring you.

  • @creative36

    You're too funny!

  • Great photos, great music, spectacular use of wipes!

Makes my Garden of the Gods slideshow look SLOW!

  • To @kidavid77

    Thanks for the nice comment!

I checked out yours and it's great!

    Maybe mine is too fast!

    :-)

  • :-) back to ya! A beautiful place of earth and stone...

  • Wow. I strongly believe that the large group that was blurred out in the first few photos were my family and our friends... especially the second one containing the group, because of the lady on the left with the red sweatshirt, because I specifically remember my mom wearing that shirt.

  • To: @tjrieves

    Could be.

I blurred out the people in the pictures, because I didn't want to be sued by anyone. Plus I didn't want anyone to recognize the people. It's okay that you did the recognizing. :-)

If yo were there on that day, then it is probably so!

  • i've been born in colorado springs^^i would love to come back to my hometown!!

  • are there many horse people iin colorado springs?

  • Meine Tante wohnt da ums Eck. Ich hab Garden of the Gods schon 1000 mal gesehn diese Bilder kann man nicht vergleichen mit dem wie sie in Echt aussehen. ;)

  • Wish I could go see this place. That's so cool that your aunt lives there.

Hope you can read English. I used a translator to see what you said. I understood "Meine Tante" but that's all.

    :-)

  • yes of course i can read english. I'm just to lazy to write in english. :D So now you don't need a translator. ;) There are more beautiful places near there. Every time i visit my aunt i don't want to go back home to germany again. :D

  • meine Tante wohnt auch in colorado springs und ich besuch sie im sommer 4 wochen

  • pics were awesome.. but the music was a bit annoying. no offence though

  • No offense taken. I can't please everyone.

    :-)

  • The guy in this song is probably singing about blowing America up. Spooky

  • You're funny. I highly doubt what you say is true. This song was in an American movie - The Fifth Element.

    :-)

  • Yes, I know. I was being sarcastic. But I will look that movie up. The title sounds interesting.

  • good pics, but song doesn't go with the slideshow

  • Yeah.... Well..... What-EVER....

I like it the way it is and so do other people.

    :-)

  • Lucky you!

  • Wonderful pictures, they reveal more than the conditioned eye can see. Ty

  • Beautiful place!

  • Colorado Springs is a postcard land. Gorgeous place!

  • This place its like the Heaven

  • i made a compilation of my car in the garden. check it out even if you dont like my car

  • Amazing song!!! :)

  • heh i live 1 min away from this!

  • Very Cool. I hope to go back some day.

  • Yea :) I sat on all of those rocks! Except the very tall ones XD

  • I went there a few years ago. Brings back memories. That was my favorite vacation ever. My favorite was the balanced rock. I remember when we were there, me and my little bro wouldn't stop fighting and my mom threatened to sacrifice us to the gods. lol. Good times!

  • This is creative, I've always loved this song, and the clip was nice, as for the Colorado versus Utah thing, I say New Zealand is prettier! Maori hard! But hey, enough of that here's the translation of the song:

I'm going mad from her changing moods

From emptiness and blame as time goes by

The past is gone, what's done is done

And joy is still there for the taking

You are in my blood, my secret heart...

Trust in God, have faith, and let's begin again

    Mean Maori Mean.

  • hop, hop, hooppaaa!!!

    Beautiful place and beautiful song!

  • Hey, VERY COOL SONG. Does anyone know if it is Arabic or Algerian? I think it might be Algerian, but not sure. Whenever I hear this song in my mind I see the girl flying around and yelling in the back of the cab and Bruce telling her to shut up as the cops are after them. An interesting movie scene from The Fifth Element.

  • Cheb is Algerian. And yes, the fifth element is a great movie.

BTW garden of the gods is weak sauce compared to southern Utah. Bryce Canyon, Zion, and more...wow!

  • the video is great but the song is greater finaly i found it 10x alot

  • Man, thanks for this I just moved from Colorado Springs; I miss it so much, it almost makes me want to cry everyday when I look out my window and don't see Garden of the Gods or Pike's Peak. This little bit just made my day,and we're not that bad in Colorado, there's just some very conservative religious voters there; it's not as though we all vote one way. And in Colorado Springs you'd have almost nothing to worry about, it's a very open-minded place, despite what you may have heard.

  • ya, New Mexico is cooler my ass!! Closer to the border, hotter, DRIER climate, less people, less white culture, less vegetation, less mountains that arn't as high, worse weed...new mexico can just go back to being Mexico.

  • if you don't mind me asking, what days did you go?

because i think i may have been there the same day...

i remember that group of people and the cloudy skies.

  • I took these pictures August 6, 2006. A very cool place.

  • wow, small world. i was there that day :)

    awesome

  • Thanks for posting these photos. I won't be traveling to Colorado anytime soon as the people just passed an anti-gay constitutional amendment.

  • Stupid Colorado people. I don't know what else to say. New Mexico is much cooler than Colorado anyway.

  • That's too bad, Colorado is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. The ol' west history, the people, the festivals, the life, etc. You are only cutting yourself short by not visiting there.

  • I'd be CRAZY to go on vacation in a state that doesn't recognize the legality of my relationship with my partner. Say my partner was injured on a hiking trip, the hospital would be REQUIRED BY LAW to tell me to wait in the waiting room while they call her FAMILY in California. They couldn't even tell me if she were alive or dead. And if she died, I would not be allowed to claim her body to take her home to California to bury her. Total bullshit on the part of Colorado voters.

  • You'd be crazy not to experience Colorado. It is quite beautiful. There just happens to be a very large "Focus on the Family" population in Colorado which pretty much determines a lot of laws being passed or not. Not all Colorado voters want half the laws that are passed in the state. I agree with your statement on a few points, like "If these walls could talk part 3", you don't want that to happen right? I don't blame you. It is still a beautiful state.

  • Did you vote against the anti-gay constitutional amendment?

  • Yes, absulutely.

  • @MCBowles Manitou Springs is near Colorado Springs and they have more of a hippie reputation.
