To say our founding fathers did not create a near perfect system (yes near perfect) while comparing it to what we have today is not at all a fair comparison. We are so far from our base that our founders would not recognize our government with things like SOPA, NDAA, and tyrannical departments like EPA, TSA, DHS, and others even being discussed.

If government officials simply rejected handouts from corps. then we wouldn't be in this huge monopoly run economy. I think we need a non political government entity that is designed to keep our government in constitutional boundaries and away from corruption.

I think the video title is a bit misleading. You are confusing warriors with criminals. I'm a warrior in training and plan to be so when not if SHTF. I don't plan on robbing ppl with my weapons. I also plan on letting my fist do the talking more than my weapon, unless needed otherwise. Good video either way.

This guy has a very good point. Most people have very little firearms and or tactical training. The best thing in this type of situation is to have a level head and be able to stay calm. Spray and pray tactics will officially get you shot very quickly. I have an AR and he is absolutely right, it is merely a tool. People helping people and working together is the best way to get through a challenging SHTF situation. Thats my opinion anyhow.

"assault rifles" per say are meant to be used in group situations, commonly long rifles are given to the individual, I myself living in the city am thinking a 9mm carbine and a bolt action in something like .303 or .308 would be fine for any and every situation i would run into, oh and i always forget we have enough 22lrs for everyone in the family, something that wouldnt hurt for me to improve on is getting a hand gun in 9mm or 45acp but i dont think handguns or AR's are mandatory

You could steal peoples stuff in a SHTF scenario, killing the owners first is, probably, the safest means to achieve that end. Needless to say, raiders would be a plausible threat, but most likely aren't going to be labeled as such. Initially, only the foolish, stupid, and unorganized raiders would pose a common threat, but as the situation advances, the more cunning, ruthless, and intelligent groups will fill the power-gap.
Best to lay low and let hell blow over. If hostiles attempt to enter your home, defend & terminate as necessary. Folks running around with battle rifles in the streets will be some of the first to die. Good video, much appreciated.
I go in the opposite direction....instead of 1 AR, i am going with 5 sks and 10 crates of ammo....enough to help arm the neighbours that will form a militia to ensure local order...we will work with police where and when we can, and on our own when police can no longer support us..... militias will form as a self defence mechanism, almost everywhere... I figure my 5 sks will go a long way to help neighbourhood security..
You are very right and that is what I tell people they are tools. I onky own 4 guns and they are all tools for hunting. I have a 12 gauge, 243 win, 357 mag, and a 22lr. IMO that is all you need.
@rjky1986. Forget the pellet gun for defense. All it will do is escalate an already tense situation and get you shot at. Leave the toys in the toybox or for plinking small game. The moment you raise an item that looks like a gun, then it becomes a serious situation with life altering consequences.

@DEMCAD What's your stance on high-velocity pellet pistols as a form of self-defense? With or without a CO2 cartridge? Obviously it can't kill a perpetrator, but it could at close range inflict pain and potentially disorient them, and even more so if I managed to shoot them in the eye or the throat or something. In addition to that, certain ones can look like real at first glance or in a dimmer-lighted environment and instill fear in them or make em back off. What do you think?
In a WROL situation, all strangers become deadly. But only if it is a country wide WROL situation... if we do enter a country wide WROL situation, then every stranger is a potential deadly threat. You can't keep your behavior and your judgements the same as if it were a Rule of Law type situation, because if you do, your decision will kill you and your loved ones. In a WROL situation, you're going to have to kill people you normally would just avoid, because if you don't, they might kill you.

Demcad you gave the most sensible response to these Rambo types I ever heard on Youtube. In hostile environments, violent action should be used for protection. Certain injuries, even with medical treatment, reduces ones effectiveness and survival odds. Act smart protect your circle.

Any weaponry you choose to use is only as effective as your skill in using it. You're right, it's only a tool. You can use a lever action 30/30 or a bolt action rifle as a combat rifle if you know how to use it. The same goes with all handguns of course. So if you're a wimp and a jacktard with out a gun, and only go and buy one but have no training, you're still a wimp and a jacktard. As for skills, well, with out any, you're toast, non weapons skills as well. Learn and practice!
Demcad: Smart idea keeping a round in the chamber of your Glock. When practicing, you should also spend time firing weak hand only. You should try racking your Glock with one hand. Find a way to push the slide against your leg to hold it and push the frame of the gun to rack it. (unloaded of course).
Somehow shooting one of my neighbors who is trying to steal a carrot out of my garden to feed his starving family never appealed to me. Besides a shooter with a 30-06 and a scope can take you out at 300 yards and your arsenal will be of no use at all.

Depending on the holster you have try using the edge of the holster to chamber a round by pulling it part way out, turning 45 degrees and pushing down fast to chamber the round.
Heavily armed gangs? The average gang member isn't heavily armed, and in no case do I worry about that where I live. If I lived in a place like New Jersey, yeah I'd worry, but gang members running around here with .38 Specials and Hi-Points would have a very short shelf life.

Because of him I am much more prepared, I bought a larger caliber gun and added security cameras. I don't want to clean shit off the carpet so I agree, shooting is a last resort.
No, do you really think people overestimate their skills, and I agree deadly force, is just that, the absolute last resort, stealing food, guns, or whatever others have will definitely diminish ones' life. I think the video title is a bit misleading. You are confusing warriors with criminals. I'm a warrior in training and plan to be so when not if SHTF. I don't plan on robbing ppl with my weapons. I also plan on letting my fist do the talking more than my weapon, unless needed otherwise. Good video either way.

This guy has a very good point. Most people have very little firearms and or tactical training. The best thing in this type of situation is to have a level head and be able to stay calm. Spray and pray tactics will officially get you shot very quickly. I have an AR and he is absolutely right, it is merely a tool. People helping people and working together is the best way to get through a challenging SHTF situation. Thats my opinion anyhow.

"assault rifles" per say are meant to be used in group situations, commonly long rifles are given to the individual, I myself living in the city am thinking a 9mm carbine and a bolt action in something like .303 or .308 would be fine for any and every situation i would run into, oh and i always forget we have enough 22lrs for everyone in the family, something that wouldnt hurt for me to improve on is getting a hand gun in 9mm or 45acp but i dont think handguns or AR's are mandatory

You could steal peoples stuff in a SHTF scenario, killing the owners first is, probably, the safest means to achieve that end. Needless to say, raiders would be a plausible threat, but most likely aren't going to be labeled as such. Initially, only the foolish, stupid, and unorganized raiders would pose a common threat, but as the situation advances, the more cunning, ruthless, and intelligent groups will fill the power-gap.

I go in the opposite direction....instead of 1 AR, i am going with 5 sks and 10 crates of ammo....enough to help arm the neighbours that will form a militia to ensure local order...we will work with police where and when we can, and on our own when police can no longer support us..... militias will form as a self defence mechanism, almost everywhere... I figure my 5 sks will go a long way to help neighbourhood security..

@DEMCAD What's your stance on high-velocity pellet pistols as a form of self-defense? With or without a CO2 cartridge? Obviously it can't kill a perpetrator, but it could at close range inflict pain and potentially disorient them, and even more so if I managed to shoot them in the eye or the throat or something. In addition to that, certain ones can look like real at first glance or in a dimmer-lighted environment and instill fear in them or make em back off. What do you think?

In a WROL situation, all strangers become deadly. But only if it is a country wide WROL situation... if we do enter a country wide WROL situation, then every stranger is a potential deadly threat. You can't keep your behavior and your judgements the same as if it were a Rule of Law type situation, because if you do, your decision will kill you and your loved ones. In a WROL situation, you're going to have to kill people you normally would just avoid, because if you don't, they might kill you.

Any weaponry you choose to use is only as effective as your skill in using it. You're right, it's only a tool. You can use a lever action 30/30 or a bolt action rifle as a combat rifle if you know how to use it. The same goes with all handguns of course. So if you're a wimp and a jacktard with out a gun, and only go and buy one but have no training, you're still a wimp and a jacktard. As for skills, well, with out any, you're toast, non weapons skills as well. Learn and practice!

Demcad: Smart idea keeping a round in the chamber of your Glock. When practicing, you should also spend time firing weak hand only. You should try racking your Glock with one hand. Find a way to push the slide against your leg to hold it and push the frame of the gun to rack it. (unloaded of course).

Again it is not the weapon (tool) it is the knowledge behind the weapon. Very well put Regie. Just because you have a weapon (even Automatic) does not make the person a badass. Deadly force is always the last resort.
Depending on the holster you have try using the edge of the holster to chamber a round by pulling it part way out, turning 45 degrees and pushing down fast to chamber the round.

Because of him I am much more prepared, I bought a larger caliber gun and added security cameras. I don't want to clean shit off the carpet so I agree, shooting is a last resort.
