okay you have some pretty extremists views of whats going on over there. In my tour in Iraq i hadn't even heard of a civilian death. You make it sound like we went over there with guns a blazing, ROE man ROE, look them up they are a bitch sometimes and cause a lot of US troop deaths. Death penalty here is used on murderers convicted by a jury. Over there is if you say something bad about Saddam, kinda different. Agent orange was used on communist soldiers.. that raped and burned down villages...
As for the nuclear bomb it has been proven in many scenarios that the bombing of those two cities was, in fact, less harmful to both sides. The other two options were a full scale invasion and a military blockade. The invasion would have had total amount of fatalities up to 5 million combined. The blockade would have resulted in around 2.3 million. compared to under 250,000 including the ones effected after the bombing i think i would choose the bombs.

It actually hit the gunner, It was a small pebble sized piece of the roof, where the RPG's steel pentrator had lodged and made a small crater, I was knocked back agisnt the side of one of the bunkers by the blast as I was also out on the roof unprotected. It ended up just ringing my bell, at the time I thougt it might have been a mortar round, and tha was more disconcerting than an RPG.
This was not a trained, and informed army or group of combatants fighing directly with another professional army. This was a cadre of hardcore Al-quida in Iraq terrorists, using highly questionable tactics to get young ( as young as 13 years old) Iraqis to die for their cause. A cause of hate, and discord that has been almost universally denounced. Don't kid yourself as to who is attack up here, and how "normal" it is. By your accound beheading tribal leaders is warefare? Its the most scary the first time, this engagement was not our first major contact, as the insurgents were determined to dislodge us from these two positions. Its not really as bad after that, until you get home, and can't quite get the memories to go away. I'm sure your boyfriend is well trained, equipped, and more importantly, is serving with a dedicated, professional band of brothers who will keep him safe.

thats why in every firefight you hear about theres almost alwase about 16 dead insurgeants and 0 dead US military personel.
sure our soldiers cost us more, but we have more money, and our soldiers dont die in the first firefight they go into.
First off, I belive your referring to the range card, not the TM, as the TM wasn't danglign from the weapon mount, but the range card was. Secondly, yes we DID have the TM and FM for the weapon on sight... can you tell me what the T&E settigns are for indirect (plunging) fire for 2800 meters? .. Huh Fucktard? See, we also utilized the weapon for local counterbatery. We were within 3000m of several known POO sites, and could bring to bear the mk-19 quicker than any other counter battery weapon
Funny yes, but not accurate. Our supporting fires were split between our site and another in contact. Once the TOC deterimed we were the enemy's main effort we recived priority of fires. I ended up droping over 100 rounds of 155 on insurgents manuvering to reinforce from the east. We also recieved support from the battalion 81mm mortars and later, rotery wing CAS from the marine air wing. This in additon to reinforcing Bradley fightign vehicle ensured that the attack on BP 4 would totaly fail
Not to be a dick, but maybe if you were pulling security with that mk19 instead of fucking around with your camera, you could have splattered the Muj rpg guy before he did that? As in, put down the camera and be an NCO?
As commander of the position I had ordered him to hold his weapon tight, and engage only targets he could identify, not probable targets. (you can hear me give that order in another video).
As we were in a remote location, with no idea of when we might be resuppiled, and with this being a prolonged engagement I had to begin conservation of ammo to repell probable follow on attacks.
Combat is not like a FPS, there is not cheat code or spawn point to get more ammo from.
I have not, I deployed back to back OEF/OIF deployments I was away from my family for 28 months. I have yet to return as I could not in good concious voulnteer agian to leave my family for such a long time. My home unit had deployed to kosovo when I returned. Currently we are training for an anticipated deployment in the next 12 to 18 months.

3. The RPG that struck the roof came from the far side, exactly how you he engage that? Firing THROUGH the 4 soliders between him and the RPG gunner? And though the bunker and camo netting between him and it?
The gunner was scanning HIS sector, and engaging targets in HIS sector, successfully I might add as he compeltely disrupted the enemy's ability to manuver.

You make it sound like we went over there with guns a blazing, ROE man ROE, look them up they are a bitch sometimes and cause a lot of US troop deaths. Death penalty here is used on murderers convicted by a jury. Over there is if you say something bad about Saddam, kinda different. Agent orange was used on communist soldiers.. that raped and burned down villages...

As for the nuclear bomb it has been proven in many scenarios that the bombing of those two cities was, in fact, less harmful to both sides. The other two options were a full scale invasion and a military blockade. The invasion would have had total amount of fatalities up to 5 million combined. The blockade would have resulted in around 2.3 million. compared to under 250,000 including the ones effected after the bombing i think i would choose the bombs.

He also stated we plan on taking down the war criminal Hussein administration which, you cannot defend. And eliminating all terror cells in the region. Which apparently 40+ of your neighboring countries, including NATO, seem to approve of... as they sent troops to Iraq as well.

the 40+ neighboring countries list can be located if you search the Multinational Force. It was a US led force of over 40+ countries agreeing with America's decision to end that horrible regime and help make the middle east a better place. Think of it this way, in America before the end of wide spread racism was over there was a lot of violence. That issue is almost gone now. It actually hit the gunner, It was a small pebble sized piece of the roof, where the RPG's steel pentrator had lodged and made a small crater, I was knocked back agisnt the side of one of the bunkers by the blast as I was also out on the roof unprotected. It ended up just ringing my bell, at the time I thougt it might have been a mortar round, and tha was more disconcerting than an RPG.

This was not a trained, and informed army or group of combatants fighing directly with another professional army. This was a cadre of hardcore Al-quida in Iraq terrorists, using highly questionable tactics to get young ( as young as 13 years old) Iraqis to die for their cause. Its the most scary the first time, this engagement was not our first major contact, as the insurgents were determined to dislodge us from these two positions. Its not really as bad after that, until you get home, and can't quite get the memories to go away. I'm sure your boyfriend is well trained, equipped, and more importantly, is serving with a dedicated, professional band of brothers who will keep him safe.

you cant win a war by sending wave after wave of weak, untrained soldiers at a group of highly trained professionals with advanced weaponry and equipment.
thats why in every firefight you hear about theres almost alwase about 16 dead insurgeants and 0 dead US military personel.
sure our soldiers cost us more, but we have more money, and our soldiers dont die in the first firefight they go into.

First off, I belive your referring to the range card, not the TM, as the TM wasn't danglign from the weapon mount, but the range card was. Secondly, yes we DID have the TM and FM for the weapon on sight... can you tell me what the T&E settigns are for indirect (plunging) fire for 2800 meters? .. Huh Fucktard? See, we also utilized the weapon for local counterbatery. We were within 3000m of several known POO sites, and could bring to bear the mk-19 quicker than any other counter battery weapon

Funny yes, but not accurate. Our supporting fires were split between our site and another in contact. Once the TOC deterimed we were the enemy's main effort we recived priority of fires. I ended up droping over 100 rounds of 155 on insurgents manuvering to reinforce from the east. We also recieved support from the battalion 81mm mortars and later, rotery wing CAS from the marine air wing. This in additon to reinforcing Bradley fightign vehicle ensured that the attack on BP 4 would totaly fail

As commander of the position I had ordered him to hold his weapon tight, and engage only targets he could identify, not probable targets. (you can hear me give that order in another video).
As we were in a remote location, with no idea of when we might be resuppiled, and with this being a prolonged engagement I had to begin conservation of ammo to repell probable follow on attacks.
Combat is not like a FPS, there is not cheat code or spawn point to get more ammo from.

I have not, I deployed back to back OEF/OIF deployments I was away from my family for 28 months. I have yet to return as I could not in good concious voulnteer agian to leave my family for such a long time. My home unit had deployed to kosovo when I returned. Currently we are training for an anticipated deployment in the next 12 to 18 months.

3. The RPG that struck the roof came from the far side, exactly how you he engage that? Firing THROUGH the 4 soliders between him and the RPG gunner? And though the bunker and camo netting between him and it?
The gunner was scanning HIS sector, and engaging targets in HIS sector, successfully I might add as he compeltely disrupted the enemy's ability to manuver.

Ramadi at the time was ringed by ECP's and BP's to deny the enemy (and civilians) freedom of movement
ECPs were check points you had to pass though to enter the city, on major avenuse of approach.
ECP-5 uas a vehicle ECP, until it was hit by a VBED, about 2 months before we arrived.
Durring our tour, ECP-5 Was a pedsetrian Only Point of entry into Ramadi.
