  • WAIT.. UFC peepz are talking shit about Seagal? Do they know that he helped train the godly spider silva? lolz

  • Or, when he has his knife up against your back, just simply hit him with the spinning back fist while doing that Steven Seagal move at with bod hands. Or, duck and hit him in the balls. There are so many things you can do! 1:19.

But, if you're doing this against a Akido black belt, you're fucked.

  • cool

  • What the hell is wrong with people?!?! just because u can't imagine an technique working doesnt mean it won't. Can he survive against a shaolin or an MMA? Its ridiculous!

  • Thats cause ur a bunch of pussies...

  • not so lost now ) 400k views

  • ooo man i love this,pins him down,then checks his hair......love steven

  • Cheap ass MMA.

  • jeet kune do all day

  • my arm would be freakin broken

  • still 2 thid day.......

  • You can't do this shit against a real fighter.

  • @neomysterio Yes you can. And he would not make it alive if you have to survive on that moment.

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • Great synching on the music!

  • would not work with someone his own size

  • @hogmedic yes it will work

  • Steven Seagal is amazing, I wouldnt mess with him lol

  • 0:33 omg DAMNIT!! THats the music what I always wanted to hear!!!! fav part of my life. This part was in the Mortal Kombat Armageddon game also! :) Steven Seagal is awesome :D

  • Steven Seagal sei il numero uno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i wish people would stop bashing aikido and seagal, dont you realise aikido is a true martial art, for self defence against your average attacker on the street, not to fight with some MMA guy who also does martial arts, aikido works for what it was developed for, and aikido dont owe you nothing MMA fans

  • the 32 dislikes got there ass kicked by steven seagal... lol

  • ohh wait steve your hair.

  • Silly question but does anyone know what the name of this soundtrack is. Awsome, love it!!

  • The song makes me want to get a massage.

  • no one can beat me on the kitchen))))

  • The rules may vary in America, but I thought you had to be at least 18 to be a dan grade in aikido? I myself am a brown under 16 and have been told that I cannot grade straight to a black until I have had at least 1 year as a brown, so how come this 13 year old is a dan grade?

  • @AlbaG50 having a hakama doesn't mean you're a black belt, and also how do you know he's 13?

  • This shit is so staged.

  • why don;t we see these moves been done in real life...real tournaments...corregrafy is wonderful..but can you really do that in MMA?i am just asking, not being disrespectfully:)

  • @razvanescu86 because not too many people know about them. plus the people who do wouldnt be in mma

  • @evilrobotsanta that's nice of you to say that...but it is not true:)...peace

  • @evilrobotsanta

this can not be done in MMA, this is pre rehersed fighting.

Against a trained fighter who knows how to counter this it will not work, but this is not all aikido has to offer. THey have good ground game and that you will see in MMA, but there are superior ground fighting styles to this.

  • @razvanescu86

no, fighting like this will not work against someone who dont want to get tossed around. But aikido in general will work well if you have trained for real fighting and not exposes like this..

this is like the chinese kung fu team, it looks fantastik, but they got their ass handed to them when they went to thailand to fight thai boxers who train for real fighting,

  • OMG! that is awesome!

  • a fast hand boxer or sanshou masters cannot give the Great Seagal a chance to catch their hands....the fucking guy in this video is just a dumbass that always run toward Seagal and let Seagal do what he wants........Film is Film, in real liFe, I'm not sure that AIKIDO is a efective martial art, ưhy? in Seagal film, he always beat every Shaolin Kungfu Experts withouts any wounds?????? that's BULLSHIT....A Shaolin MONK can kick SEAGAL and all the Japanese Martial experts in this world!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @koukaibi What a bullshit, the only difference is that this child knows how he should 'fall'. If he would throw a boxer like that he would break his arm.

  • @INeedCookies2 I feel angry after seeing my favorite martial arts such as Kung fu and Boxing being beat down like dogs in Seagal movie.........WHY???? in real life, can Seagal beat a Shaolin Kungfu master or just be beaten to death????

  • @koukaibi boxing is for chicken

    no offense

  • @koukaibi in real fight condition when someone's leg or arm got caught or grabbed

    it means game over

    maybe can't fight anymore

  • @Jigsaw3695 oh that's why BJJ is very effective in UFC, thanks for ur info, but, boxing is very effective against the others martial arts cuz the sway/ dodge skills is very fast.......

  • I WOULD LIKE THE NAME OF THE MUSIC

    STEVEN SEAGAL E' UN MOSTRO!

  • it doesn't matter what size you are. i took down someone my size but a little stronger than me and i use aikido and the other guy used ufc skills.

  • Steven Seagal can beat van Damme in a fight, no doubt

  • looks amazing but it jst doesnt work in a real street fight, sorry

  • @lusby16 if u knew about martial arts u wouldnt be making that comment. A demonstration is a demonstration. A knowledgable person would recognise tips that open up great possibilities. These people have direct techniques that are far from these because they look boring and too simple. that would make people belieive anyone can do them.

  • still try it with a guy the samesize

  • @ribbs06 it's not the size that matters...

  • @ribbs06 in this area the size doesnt matter trust me...we have girls in our gym the are about 165cm that through guys that weigh 100-120kg....size? who gives a f**k...

    the repetition is the key

  • does the little one have bones????

  • woooow those moves were awesome... if yur napoleon dynamite... steven seagals aikido would probably have a good go with rex kwon do

  • Yea, Doesn't work people!!!!!!!! When people strike you they are not telegraphing like this

  • Whatever u say,he is way much faster and technical better then loads of other UFC fighters

  • @Milkiwow thats tru cuz UFC has rules and aikido is a martial art that the UFC does not allow, also Anderson Silva is one of the best fighters in the UFC and he was trained by steven seagal

  • This is bullshit. It's all choreographed fighting. This is fictional fighting. A real fight isn't like this. Watch the old UFC's where the only rules were no biting and no eye gouging. There have been guys in the UFC who were black belts in Aikido and they got their asses kicked. Steven Segal would get his ass kicked too by anyone in the UFC. If you think otherwise then you're not living in reality.

  • hes a punkass bitch who beats on children

  • HE IS THE BEST

  • Damn he's quick, i dont care if it rehearsed or not, that still takes stupid amounts of skill and control to execute.

  • This is amazing

  • Who ever thinks Aikido is not effective in any STREET FIGHT are greatly mistaken.... Aikido is pure defence and is practiced to defend against street fighters. A STREET FIGHTER is going to come at you with everything they got and Aikido will defend everything that is thrown its way; this video proves just that.

  • fighting is completely different is messy and ugly. aikido was created by judo practitioner. not effective in street fighting but is good for showing off. wrestling is the most easy and effective one.

  • @333333ahmed aikido is proven to be effective but it depends on who trains you , if you join competitions, and dual against other people that do different kind of fighting , your correct about aikido not being effective when you only trained. thats the difference people forget. If you wanna use aikido effectivly then it must be become a part of your life and be one with it or else its useless

  • steven segal is an artist in fighting who cares about stupid ufc they fight like gays. bruce lee was not a fighter he was artists made fighting pretty, when will people understand simple things

  • I hope his assistant was well paid

  • music is like from asian porn O.o

  • i wanna se him in ufc if he is such a badass. he would be distroyed

  • @mariusiordan Sir, I really do hope that you don't know what you are talking about. You are probably here, because all you can ever do well is sit at home and talk rubbish about well trained movie stars and then browse internet for some hardcore shit which will make u happy after you have been fucking around for too long. Cuz this is all you can ever do with your happy life . If you dislike Steven Seagal then why you browsed his name? Seagal knows also karate and judo quite well. He is real!

  • If your body does not move then your hand will break? Of course, i'm assuming. I know nothing of martial arts. Can anyone who practices aikido explain for me?

  • what is that?? martial art for retards??

  • it's only a 12 year old he's up against

  • To PandaKilla187

    It's Tibet - Peaks.

  • this is a chill ass song what is it?

  • chinese are best martial arts

  • @walla236 Not true.

  • Comment removed

  • Enlightenment through pain.....

  • that's really hurst ^,.....,^

  • what is this song s name ?

  • Too bad it's all staged...

  • @allexcosta - that's demonstrations for ya...

  • thumbs up if you where thinking..

"HOLY FUCK!??" ..the whole time ☺

  • @MultiJokesMan Yes those are the words i am saying right now! lol It looks so damn painful!!

  • I think that gidra would beat seagal if he was alive...

  • congratulations you beat up a 13 year old

  • @zmjm40

Believe me, that 13 year old would fuck you up... ;-))

  • the master!!!

  • Ahora vengan a contarme quien se resiste a un Aikido.

  • /watch?v=QkQFXR9YrsY

  • he is doing his hair the whole time

  • seagal is the fuckin man, such a legend, anyone who says aikido dont work, please go and say that to seagals face whilst i laugh my head off when he throws your across the room with your wrists and arms all broken up, also, to the MMA retards, id love to put seagal in the ring with one of those fighters, what you think because they have trained a few years in boxing and BJJ that they're good?, all Seagal needs is an arm and that will be the end of the fight right there.

  • Comment removed

  • @abeccio Any real fighter will tell you it's not the art but the fighter. I'm not supporting any fighters or art, I'm just saying BJJ is good as well as Aikido but it's the fighter who makes it good.

  • @abeccio sorry but your just stupid and should shoot yourself for thinking you know anything do you know anything about steven seagal oe aikido he would own any stupid gay ass mma fighter out there i like mma but thats the dumbest shit i ever heard you must be like 12 you just shown everyone your a retard

  • @abeccio you're a dumbass

  • @krautbeer100 it isn't unlikely. There's a reason why professional fighting has weight classes. A bigger stronger person of equal technique will always be the better of the two. A smaller person cannot possibly generate the same power and force as someone larger than them. It's simple physics and biology.

  • Actually in Aikido smaller people have an advantage because they're center of gravity is low so they're opponent (who is taller) is thrown off his/her balance.

  • @12moxx size is not an issue. different sizes have deifferent centers of gravity and stress points for body parts....its all technique

  • Total fake. But for a good reason. AIKIDOO is a TOTAL DEFENSE art, so the young kid 'attacking" him and a fellow aikidoo warrior would NEVER attack anyone and this is just a video of the range of different defences when attacked. If you notice in his movies he NEVER, EVER attacks the crooks n thugs but demolishes them rushing towards him! He went to japan as a youth, learnt the language, and studied the art with such dedication that he won the hearts of the japanese people thru his efforts!

  • i just find it funny that he put him on the floor does a joint lock then just casually combs his hair back :) steven you LEGEND

  • @12moxx Size doesn't matter technique does

  • @dragondirectorNL So if two people are of equal technique, and they're different sizes, who do you think would be the better? Certainly not the smaller guy.

  • @GodsBurden This is unlikely. In martial arts you either progress or regress, you never stand still . For that reason the likelihood that 2 people are at the same skill level is nearly impossible. My Tai Chi master only weighed about 120 lbs, yet 3 men my size(220 lbs) could not move or lift him. What do you mean by equal technique ? Small men with few techniques can win over big ones with many techniques. After 30 years of training I know that it's not all technique! it's in the delivery

  • command & conquer Generals music :)

  • Dont you guys think that old batman movies wouldve been so much better with steven seagal rather than micheal keaton? lol

  • I really, really hope you guys dont think that little men are weak. Remember: Martial arts are for people of all shapes and sizes. This does not mean that big guys cant lose to a little man.

  • @thiagoakhe i bet your some midget

  • @thiagoakhe

    Exactly, Bruce Lee was 5'7''

  • @thiagoakhe BRUCE LEEE WAS LITTLE

  • @thiagoakhe no but if they are almost the same skill level even if the small guy is better frankie edgar vs overeem would be death

  • @thiagoakhe just that bigger guys have an advantage

  • @thiagoakhe And I Really Hope You Do Realize That Steven Seagal is More than a Black Belter AIKIDO Master,Aikido Is The Best Among The Martial Arts,Because as you Can See There is no Tournament in AIKIDO its Almost DEMONSTRATION ONLY.

  • Comment removed

  • @thiagoakhe Everyone cries if you break their nose... So I agree:)

  • chuck norris was having sex with segals wife while this was being filmed.

  • Steven Segals really good at fighting little kids

  • Sugoi

  • Seriously i would rather suck on a bullet than to fight him,... just imagine the pain while he breaks all of your bones xDD

  • Id kick Stevens butt any day, with a bat...and a gun...and a cannon

  • this is sick, too bad he's actually a sexual predator... got busted with like 20 under-age asian sex slaves at one of his places, heard this a while ago tho, never heard any follow up, might not be true but if it is thas fuckkkked

  • it's not really "lost video", you can check the longre and better quality version if u search Steven Seagal on Merv Griffin on Youtube

    youtube.com/watch?v=1yacGwi8Kzg&feature=related

  • I'd love to become an aikido master in order to throw little kids around.

  • Actually aikido is selfdefense, turn into offense......... U could use the force of ur oponent towrads ur advantage.

    That's how aikido work.

  • This is great man! nice work man +5

  • I did Aikido for a few years.. The tradition side is pretty cool, but not very affective in the modern world.

  • that boy must of learned alot from him

  • Can he do the same things to a light heavyweight??

  • @Jamesxbusiness

I guess , cuz i heard aikido uses the opponent wight against him.

  • @aexbexcex Well akido just looks like a action movie, for me its like not realistic to throw opponent like that in a real fight

  • @Jamesxbusiness

Well it's a self defense martial art.. and u can beat anyone with that shit.

    That's my opinion.

  • 1:02 wtffffffffff he chapter his shoulder

  • chuck norris

  • he should have used someone bigger

  • These are different types of martial arts. The martial arts for the ufc fighters is to beat each other down and to protect themselves. But there is a martial arts to kill people. If you would put an Elite special forces soldier to fight a ufc champ, the soldier would probably win. They are trained to manipulate, disable and finish their enemies.

  • @duckmastterflex lol, what u say is biggest bullshit. cro cop was special soldier and said its not near mma. what u see in movie is not real. ufc once didnt had any rules. u could even hit into balls. ufc champ train every day, many different martial arts to be best in world and he fight almost every day. is it sparing or... but fight while soldier maybe never see fight in his life. what u said can only say some1 who never had nothing related to mma or army

  • Segal is classic, there really is no comparison between styles, each is up to the individual practioner, there are no super styles. However, that being said (look stats up) aikido being as gentle as it is one of the arts filled with injuries. Why? cause simple techniques work. More people are injured and even killed per year just practicing aikido than other martial arts. Granted most injuries and deaths usually invole under rank students. if a beginner can kill you accidentally imagine a pro.

  • Steven Segal actually trained anderson silva for a year

  • How is it lost if I am watching it right now?

  • what is the song called

  • damn the brat will die like this

  • I guess even Jet Li can't kick his ass LOL

  • visit an akido dojo man, charge their sifu/sensei with the intent to hurt him. then talk shit.

  • Seagal is fuckin' AWESOME!!!

  • if i were that dude, i stabbed steven and i wont hesitate and wait for him to grapple.XD U GO STEVEN!

  • I'm not very much a Steven Seagal fan, but Aikido is a very strong and dangerous sport, it's a samurai art, if you're very strong and stealth fast and you master it; it's lethal by all means, and you might just be invincible!

    P.S. Ninjas do Aikido..

  • Poor boy, i felt his pain...

Are they in a spaceship? ._.

  • @JackSamps

    loooooool

  • @JackSamps 1st. The boy didn't feel any pain (accept for the locks of course).

    2nd. No.Definately not.

Next time don't try to be funny.

  • @rumboss123 Man, I'm not trying anything, just you, trying to be a smartass motherfucker _|_

go find some pussy, next time, and please, don't waste your time answering this, 'cuz I don't wanna waste mine. ;)

  • @JackSamps lol, I'm pretty sure it's the Merv Griffen show.

  • can someone please point me to a video of aikido being used for self defense or in sport? because every video i have ever seen of it is ridiculously funny/absurd. lots of people may comment back telling me i don't know what i'm talking about but no-one can prove me wrong with a video.

  • @iliketha well i think reason being is that aikido isnt a sport, its a way of life :/ but that is what aikido is mainly used for is self defense, really you are not fighting you are just kind of flowing along your opponent and using his energy to your advantage with your techniques...but just curious what's absurd about it?

  • @GeekMeisterFresh example number 1, a comment saying its for self defense, show me a vid of it being used in a self defence scenario lol what's absurd is the way the willing partner flips himself around at tiny movements from the master, in a real fight the master would do that and be confused as to why all that happened was the guys clothes moved a lil, "usually ppl go flying around the room, my powers are broken!" :S

  • @iliketha I don't think you understand exactly WHY the assistant is allowing the instructor to flip them around in such a flamboyant manner. If the assistant did NOT flip around at those movements then their arms would've been disjointed from their sockets, or completely broken. THAT is why those movements are so effective; either way, it's a win-win situation for the person who knows aikido.

  • @LeanMeanWolf Nope. It's just more scripted Aikido bullshit where the assailant blindly runs in with arms stretched out, etc. There's a reason why Aikido never appears in MMA - because MMA isn't scripted and its fighters aren't morons who run straight in like a Russian peasant to a candy store. Try any Aikido in MMA and you'll get fucked up before you can say "Steven Seagal you lied to me!". Peace.

  • @sbowesuk

To be honest, MMA isnt a seperate martial art itself but has learnt and intergraded techniques from all the other martial art forms, even aikido. I know cause I practise it and use it for my career everyday. True this is a "showy" demonstration but MMA would be the same and MMA isnt as what its all talked up to be or shown.

    No hard feelings..

  • @cwhit247 Professional MMA could include Aikido, but at the top levels it never has because it doesn't work in that setting. As for MMA being a showy demonstration - you mad?

  • @sbowesuk I can't stop laughing about the image of Russian peasants running to a candy store like these Aikido students...

  • @sbowesuk

I think the point you are missing is that MMA is exactly that - mixed martial arts. Aikido is studied by many top martial artisits to further bolster their knowledge of pass through techniques, grappling, harmoniously taking opponent's balance, pins and pressure points. I've found it tremendously helpful in my lifelong study of martial arts. No other art that I've done has exposed to me to effortless self defense and only made my boxing and jujitsu more effective.

  • @LukeTBrown Yep I know that MMA isn't a style in it's own right, but it's a good example of something that's completely practical in a fluid, unpredictable, and hostile situation. I also have no doubt that Aikido has helped you, but here's the thing - you're not relying solely on it. Boxing plus JJ is a pretty killer combination (IMO) that covers at least 90% of what you'd need to go into an MMA environment. Aikido on it's own however, well, you know my view on that one.

  • @sbowesuk

I think we can agree on that. Of course, the video is a demonstration. I'd be inclined to suggest that you watch your back if you ever mix it up with a master of Aikido. We have a tendency to make people feel like they are fighting a ghost. One slip up against a master Aikidoka, and you may lose a limb. I can't say we are great on the ground, however. That is why I mixed in jujitsu. Boxing I practiced so I knew how to strike. I don't know many aikidoka that can.

  • @sbowesuk Obviously you have never seen or fought an Aikido Master....Trust me...it is night an day difference between them and your AVERAGE MMA fighter. Granted there are some greats out there; but to say that an Aikido Master couldn't last with ANYONE in MMA...Im afraid you are sorely mistaken my friend.

  • @davidrecon An Aikido master against an "average" MMA fighter? That's retarded. Why not a top MMA fighter like Anderson Silva? Best versus best says a lot more about a match-up than best versus average or even average versus average.

"to say that an Aikido Master couldn't last with ANYONE in MMA" - Did anyone specifically say that? Nope! Stop reading between the lines and jumping to conclusions buddy. Not a smart move.

  • @sbowesuk You missed my point completely. Best versus best. Mixed martial arts, in it's own right, is impressive and unique. A combination of several disciplines into one person. Aikido is one discipline, based on nothing other than that discipline. To start comparing best to best would be like comparing the best apple to the best orange. One is the best in it's own way and vice versa. I read nothing into your comment other than what you stated.

  • @sbowesuk MMA, in my opinion, is not, for the most part, practical; in a life or death situation. Given those circumstances they are moments, instances, seconds. Not minutes of grappling on the ground. I think, in my own personal opinion, that Aikido is much more practical given those types of situations. Opinions will vary, but I think we can both agree that a fight between an Aikido master and someone like Silva would be very interesting to watch.

  • @davidrecon "MMA, in my opinion, is not, for the most part, practical" - this is where I stopped reading. Fight any decent MMA guy on the street and you'd find out the hard way just how practical it is. You'd get smashed to pieces before the fight would even need to go to the ground buddy. Cya o/

  • @sbowesuk I have sparred with several decent MMA fighters. I am, myself a studier of Aikido, Judo, Jujitsu, and various forms of Gung Fu. For your other comment. The one about being smashed to pieces before the fight made it to the ground. I have seen several good martial artists that could take me with their eyes closed. I have not seen many MMA fighters that could "Smash me to pieces before the fight made it to the ground". I haven't, nor will I ever fight in MMA. It is pointless for me.

  • @davidrecon You are correct. But so many MMA fans and practitioners have the fantasy that MMA is a real fight. I'm not saying that MMA guys aren't tough. They are. I'm only saying that it is a sport, WITH RULES, just like a karate tournament, a boxing match, a judo match, or a BJJ match. There are so many techniques that aren't allowed. Try doing a REAL KARATE nukite, or a shuto uchi in MMA. You'd be disqualified, because your opponent would be dead. Those are REAL takedown defenses.

  • @njtr Agreed, well spoken, eloquent, and bravo!!!

  • @davidrecon shut the fuck up....you are full of shit....they fight for minutes in mma because they are all gladiators!!if a guy like that will fight with you the fight will last 5 seconds!
