Whoever thought this clip had insertions clearly does not watch enough I LOVE LUCY. What is seen here IS the original with NO insertions. It amazes me how society has preferred to eliminate all aspects of CP in our lifestyle. No doubt our youth is condemned to failures.
As for the grandpa's being the neighbour, in this particular episode, Frank Nelson, the infamous character actor who played various roles in other I LOVE LUCY episodes, played Mr. Ramsay - NOT the late, grate Hal March.
@JackDRatt me and my siblings weren't spanked and we are all good people my mom wasn't spanked and is a good person and only a dumb person would think for a second that you have to beat kids to make them good maybe your dad spanked your head so something is wrong with your brain
here's what i don't understand. i just watched the real version of this episode on TV and he NEVER said that? did you insert that line into this video?
That would depend upon which particular actor you are asking about, as there were more than one who played Little Ricky. If, however, you are referring to Keith Raymond Thibodeaux, billed as Richard Keith (who went on to play Opie's friend, Johnny Paul, in THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW), he was born December 1, 1950, and is yet alive today - probably one of the only original memorable cast members with us.He and his wife live in Jackson, MS, and he still plays drums
@segamcmega3 that's wonderful that Hal March is your Granddad. However, if memory serves me correctly, Mr. March never played the neighbor on "I Love Lucy"; he did however (if memory serves me correctly) appear in two episodes: one titled, "Lucy Fake Illness" from 1952 where he played a quack doctor; and a 1953 episode, "Lucy is Matchmaker", where he played a bachelor lingerie salesman that Lucy tried to hook up with friend.
thats sick that they deleted their son asking about spanking but they let him beat his wife on tv

@jerryskeeters I don't know unless it is considered too controversial today.

@jerryskeeters This came from the DVD. The spanking reference was deleted from the TV version. They do the same with the Andy Griffith Show

it's funny how little ricky answers lucy and ricky based on whether he'll get a spanking or not.
