maybe my daughters Knees were in this on lower left.. she ate cheese burgars with them i philly back then. I asked her my God did you have them sign an autograph on the cheeseburgar wrappers.. she failed to do that.. Loving the boot leg.. have a few of my own but diff band. they look so young here..My daughter does not want to be seen on the web.. but i bet she is there if it is philly this was taken from. I adore this group and i am older than the hills. Ill be watching for more bootlegs from U
I keep looking for my daughter in this vid as she knew them in philly when they were a garage band like this.. brings the CD forbidden love down to me. My old man and I love it. Go to the CD store. here in Fl. they thought we were nuts and morbid with the name of band. Then i make cassette tapes of this and send them around to my friends snail mail. . Then people in fl start to order CD. then they come down to Fl. then they hit the rolling stone mag and the rest is history. saw them live long ago
It's Michael Schorr as Nathan good left two songs into recording we have the facts in 2000, If you listen to the work on the photo album especially styrofoam plates he's just as good as jason and jesus Nick Harmer is one of the key figures in death cab and always has been, no different bassist.
ahhh iv been going fucking nuts trying to find the tabs for this song if anyone has PLEASE LET ME NO and i love dcfc the photo album is defiantly their best.
this is also available on "You Can Play These Songs With Chords" i can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet but i do like the Chords one better. this one does seem to resemble Chords more than Forbidden Love however.
So awesome!! I get chills listening to this song. this is classic DCFC. The songs from the album Transatlanticism. I wonder if they would still play this live as well. If so, that soooooooo awesome. I would almost cry. haha. If they did that would show theyre still true to themselves, the music, and theyre true fans. They have gotten somewhat mainstream, but I think and hope they are themselves at heart.
goddamn... this is all I ever wanted to see. I started listening to them after I mised them on this tour, saw their name listed. "dude some band named death cab for cutie played the Warfield last night" and downloaded this song. i was hooked! don't care too much for what they're up to now.
Wowwwww what a great perfomance thank you for uploading that!!!! it's their BEST song, no doubt.

This song isn't that hard to learn by ear. It only took me about 10 minutes to figure it out all the way through.
The part where it gets loud are basically only Power chords... if they aren't, power chords work fine.

I love their older stuff, especially this song, definitely one of my favorites.
I saw them the other night in Boston and they played a bunch of stuff from their new album, which I didn't know too well.
This is Death Cab at their best. This and the entire album, Transatlanticism.
