I had EXACTLY this issue with the same model box. If the hard drive was unplugged the box powered up ok. As soon as the hard drive was once again plugged in then no power up was possible. I assumed it was the hard drive and binned the whole thing. The Hard drive was ticking and made a racket the day before though.
@2j4ez You need to replace the two 1000uf 16v capacitors on the power supply board, you can get buy them on the Satcure website.
