i have put over 200 heavier 1 1/4 loads through it and mine still fails to cycle lighter loads. it cycles slugs, buchshot, and 1 1/4 loads all day. but the 1 1/8 bird shot still jams every single time.
for americans from russia, it was missfire you fuck!! the bullet is in the barrel, and not stuck on his way out!!!! just stick with your US guns and do not say shity things about Russian gun manufacturer.. the gas regulator is not to be touched! just read the manual if you are capable..
@TheMarash80 it said that there is a break in period of about a 100 rounds then you can touch the gas regulator to adjust to different size loads like he said I called the manufacturer about it because I was looking into getting one these guns awhile back Im not trying to be a dick but thats just what they told me
@TheMan16111 i'm telling you that is no need to play with gas regulator..
best thing about spr 453 and mp 153, is that you don't touch anything(i mean gas regulator).. it works, after 101 ruond with ANYTHING.. you may just screw up perfect shotgun because someone told you so.. read posts on forums and never trust one person.. never.. trust the majority.. if you can only translate our's forums, blogs.. you would be surprised, trust me. knowledge and tradition.. and respect for quality..
@zachh72 I'm wondering the same thing.. just got my Baikal MP-153, but don't know how the gas system works. I have just used it the way I got it, and that seems to work for both heavy and light loads...
I have taken mine hunting right out of the box, Never miss fired. I have both the synthetic and camo. I use the Camo for Duck and the synthetic for upland. The owners manual says only use 1-1/4 oz or heavier for the first 100 rounds!
I too took mine right out of the box, assembled it, played with it for a little while, made sure everything was moving freely and such.
stuck 5 rounds of 1oz #8 target loads in it, and toasted 5 rounds as fast i could pull the trigger.
i threw all kinds of shells in it, all the way down to some shells from the '80s that were made entirely out of plastic, and it shoots my heavy 3.5" BBB goose loads just as well, i love my 453!!!!! it shoots BETTER than my friends new Winchester SX3.
@GT03235 Does yours shoot 3 1/2's because if you do how do you adjust the gas for the that like for 2 3/4s how it turned down medium for 3" and up for 31/2'
@dogar882 no same gun american / russian use magnum shell for 1st shot then regular shell have fired over 200 rds no problems with it love this gun !!!!!!!
The thing i love most about this gun is the price...i had the same problem with shooting shells thru it but i read the owner manuel more and it said use 1 1/4 oz loads thru it so i did and it has never fail to cycle...fun gun to shoot
got my 453 back today gunsmith found nothing wrong said he cleaned it and deburred it still feels a little stiff so i ll take it shoot some trap e and see if that helps
i bought one of these used and it wont cycle i used 3.5 #2 's and when you have a shell in the chamber it jams and wont let you eject the shell what could possibly be wrong
i stripped it completly twice make sure you get rid of the original grease they fit in the action, plus mine now runs flawlessly after around 80 rnds it now cycles and ejects perfect every time.
i was frustrated also with my new gun not working as it should but it does state in the instructions to give it a break in period.Hope you get it sorted out.
yes that was ever helpful thanks wow u know ur stuff and where to find it i want a aow lice but ny u cant have them i want the moss 500 or rem 870 shorty 3 shot 6 in bbl but what can u do what state is it u live in
The laws for aow are differant from the suppressor laws some states allow some dont. I find this country crazy there should be the same laws statewide period.
Wow i am saving up money for tht for next pheasant and waterfowl season!! How big is the round u are using and wut size choke do u have to use when firing slugs? and is the bore rfiled?? thank you!!!
hi Garry, well both-i noticed when i was playing Jacks video and when i noticed they were gone i clicked on the comments-it's no big deal-i was just curious why they werent there-they are also gone from the camo video-are they still there when you go to them?ok thanks Garry and let me know what you think
hi Garry, another execellent video from you,hey i was looking back at some of your other videos and i noticed that my comments are gone but your replys to them are still there?do you have any idea why it would do that?ok take care and i big hello to Jules and Jack-Tom
Its just a problem with which there semi auto's suffer with. There's a few vids on here and i have asked many questions and they had problems also! I did call remington and they told me the same thing, just give it time. Today was the first time it actually ejected cartridges Thankfully
The Rifle in the background is my Remington 700 .308, the .17HMR is just out of the picture. Jules was shooting it earlier, she shot it 10 times with in 1.5 " at 100 yrds. I wish she had more interest. Bill the range is owned by a local club that we are lucky to be members of. Its a tight knit club with normally sealed membership, but i got chatting to this older chap one day at the dealership and some how guns came into the conversation. Next thing you know i was voted in.
It has 3 ranges 25, 60, and 150 yrds i shoot a few times a week and it is very rare that i bump into anyone else. Since i have become a member i have grown to prefer my rifles to my handguns which i never thought would happen.
