oh my gosh people. hendrix was not a guitar god. yes he was good. but you are comparing two different time periods and styles of music. get over hendrix and his death. live in the present. mayer rocks it in blues and pop/rock now get over it and its hard for you to get over it b/c he sang a couple of girly pop songs. so what. you are on your computer and he is selling out thousands of shows.

@SHN1311 Yup, from the context and what I heard, he was telling a guy to take off his t-shirt during YBIAWL, and he felt that needed some explaining ... After the song he said that and then starts joking about how horrible it feels to have a wet t-shirt and how much worse it is to put back on a wet t-shirt, it's like it's not yours anymore (seriously, have you ever tried that? ): ) then he tells the guy to put it back on because he says i think something about looking better with it

I was SO at this concert......it was awesome! John shirtless......yeah, he has been working out for sure! But it is all about the music, right? To pre-empt this speech about wet shirts, he had told the guy "Just take it off!" in the middle of a song, and everyone thought a girl had flashed him, he was making sure the crowd knew that wasn't what happened! LOL!
