  • yea.. i did'nt like slimer :/

    love it!!

    was born in 89 though

  • Born in 1975. Thank you GOD.

  • CLASS OF `87!!!!!!!!!

  • You simply Miss understood Slimer.

  • born in 1980... brings back good memories thanks

  • lol 82 and proud of it, long live the 80s

  • I was l in 77 and also found myself singing to a bit more than half of the songs. thnxs soulchild. i been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. i loved the ending. That's all Folks!

  • aaaaaw ive suddenly gone all nostalgic.....wanna go back to my childhood and sit infront of the tv and watch all these cartoons one after the other...im fillin up here sob sob

  • school house rock was the 70's, right?

  • GI JOE was the stuff. born in 76. nice !!!!!!

  • oh yes... deffo 80s kid, and *a bit* early 90s too... born 1980

  • hey not tring to start anything but those cartoons overlapped the 90's as well it wasnt till 1998 till they started to fuck them over with this stupid shit and got rid of all the classic wonderful shows im a 90's kid and i've seen and loved all these shows love the music ect so how i see it if u were born in the 70's then 80's it overlaps so 80's kid is a 70's and 90's is a 80s cuz the shows stay for about 10 years when the new ones start to develope again not tring to fight just wht i research

  • i was singing along to half of them

  • i loved duckula btw :)

  • Aw, bless :)

  • i was born in the 90 but i know almost all the 80 stuff though i wish i was born sooner i hate my generation the old cartoons were funnier now they dont know whats good teenage muntant ninja turtals are my favorite i had everything of theres everything was the 80s=/

  • I was born in 1984, and it´s was the glories days of my life!! We should do something about bringing this back!!

  • when i tried the care bear stare i crapped my pants as a kid.

    Thank you for the memory.

  • i was born 73 which means i hit the 80s at ages when ur most emotonally nfluenced. My first kiss, first fight, primary school and high school, anyone around my age will agreee that thee is something timeless about the 80s. im glad those born in the 80s love it all too.

  • @spar7ky I was born in 73 also, and I couldn't agree with your post more. I have a hard time explaining to my niece's and nephew's that the world just isn't what it used to be, and not in a good way. Our generation was lucky to come along when we did.

  • iwas born in the 90s and remember all of this

  • Proud to say I was born 1980!

  • I was born in 1986 but I still rememeber quite

NO! I I watch Count Duckalua, loved it & Dangermouse , also watched Tundercats (got season one on DVD) with D&D, Ducktales etc

    Oh good time....

  • I agree with the person who said they were glad they were a 70s baby. I'm glad I was born in '81 though. I was a child through the whole 80s decade, and also got to experience the very last of my childhood before becoming a teen in the 90s. I was raised on "old music" from my Dad's gen (born '41), so I got 40s-90s music (knew Brian Adams from 80s). 70s/80s reruns, and 70s/80s soft rock, 80s pop/rock/new wave! Wasn't into alternative rock much in 90s - bleh.

  • People born in the 90s DON'T "know" the 80s. I was born in 1981- last of Gen. X. Class of 2000 begins Gen. Y. A "child" of the 80s was a "child" in the decade; if born after '82, you really can't remember all of the 80s-----> 90s child. I was a teen in the 90s, but I have a great memory; remember music from '83 + on radio, movies from '84+. Age 16 or older in 1980 - NOT 80s "kids". We had 80s toons & toys, 80s sitcoms/cop shows, 80s movies, and reruns of 60s and 70s, then teens in 90s

  • I personally was born in 1990 and i know ALLOT of the 80s stuff..

you got to remember that most of the popular 80s stuff stayed around for a while, and there were re-runs and such.

not exactly sure what started in 80s or 90s but i used to watch thundercats, transformers, inspector gadget, scooby doo.. etc. although my favorite show was "are you afraid of the dark" which i think was 90s

  • Glad I was born in 1981 - the cutoff year for Gen. X! Millenials/class of 2000 was the start of Gen. Y. I have a good memory, and remember seeing a couple of movies like ET and Ghostbusters when I was a kid. I was scared of Slimer, and my Dad took me out of the theatre. Wasn't there a Madonna's Pepsi commercial playing before previews?

  • God I miss Voltron!! and Silverhawks

  • yabadaba doooo!!! does were great times :)

  • Ha ha ha, bad ass!!!! Thanx for the memories!!

  • OMG!!! I love it! Gen-Xers ROCK!!

  • Just finished watching GoLion! or as our generation knows it Voltron. You have no idea how much they altered that show.

Also second thought, I wonder. How many Gen Y or z or whatever knows, that Itchy and Scratchy was originally based on Tom and Jerry?

  • I remember all this.. Loved my childhood!!!

  • I'm so glad that I'm a 70s baby and the 80s kid!!!!!!! Gen-Xers rule!!!!

  • Beechiwawa- 1. Wow. 2. Gee whiz!

    question answered.

  • hehe thanks!

  • Batman was actually 60s not 80s.. but still I didnt see it till the 70s so hey......

  • ...this video is worthless without images although I appreciate the time you put into this.

  • That's the whole point...it's about the memories of your childhood that the theme songs evoke from listening to them...your personal memories...not just the memories evoked from seeing the cartoon. Besides, there are tons of other videos with visuals if that's more your cup of tea. Still, appreciation noted :)

  • I was a strange kid I was not really into cartoons when I was little but I watched most of these because my brother watched then and well even though he is 24 he still loves them.

  • lol i used to watch them all used to love ghostbusters yeh slimer was a bit annoying at first an yeh i watched count duckula... i feel so old.. kids tv has a lot to learn about those back in the day cos from what ive seen thy are awfull now... when i have kids ofmy own thy wont be watchin the stuf now thy can watch old episodes tht we used to watch soooooo much better... this was a great vid btw loved it !!!

  • damn this was good saturday mornings was the best by far i hate 00,s take me back to 80,s please

  • Nah, I used to watch Count Duckula too. :) By the way, you're totally right about the Chipmunks, although weird enough I disctictly remember I cried over one episode, making it the only cartoon I remember that caused this to me.

  • good memories i been try n to find them

  • Ahh.. the good old days when life was saturday cartoons.

  • Count Duckula. Oh. Hells. Yes.

  • Scooby doo and Gummie bears i still know the wle theme songs lol and woody the woodpecker classic and yogi bear lol omg thanks for posting all this i wanna be a lil kid again i loved it All and u woot it makes me sad cartoons suck know i still have all tapes from recording im soo getting m children to watch them lol children shouldnt be soo shelterd the world is still the world and its healthy for them to know what really goes on or there gonna e really lost when they go out ut n the world IMo

  • Damnit, you are taking me back! I miss those days!

  • love it

  • aw man that brought back sum gud ol memories!gr8 vid

  • ummm you don't have to be a child of the 80's to know all of this!! i was born in 91 and i know all of them!! the only reason i didn't like this video is because i had to read!! hhahaha jk! where did you find all these theme songs?!

  • That was cute.

  • wow! brought back alot of wonderful memories.

    It was fun. Thanks.

  • OMG....the Shirtails

  • MonChiChi means happiness, mon!

  • Ha!

  • Gummi Bears theme was and still is my all time fav, though. Dammit woman, you got me ramblin.

Imma go YouTube that song, right now!

  • Though you did forget:

    SilverHawks

    Bionic 6

    DuckTales

    Mask

    Snorks

Jem (and the Holograms and the USA cartoon express)

    Can't get 'em all though.

    Great Job!

  • Soul...I must say I'm impressed. VERY! You took a complete spin around. This had to take hours to edit. If no one can..I can appreciate this one...Fav'd!

  • Hi, Brenda! I'm an '80s child! I was born on 9/14/85. There were indeed a lot of great cartoons made in the 1980's, as well as other children's TV shows--not to mention toys and other things.
