@YepYepYepNo When you localize an anime or a game, it is like starting from scratch only with some of your base materials already made for you. In my opinion, it's harder work to develop a localization for a game rather than creating one from scratch so I'd give them some credit.

LOL I'm kinda glad she said "Don't count on this to pay your bills." There are so many hopeful teenagers who think they can do voice acting, even though it's actually not an easy job. O.o I think those people need a reality check. "Struggling actor" applies to voice acting too. Your face is hardly ever shown and you don't get a lot of publicity, so you don't get paid anywhere near as much money. The people who get a lot of money are those who work for an animated series or have great range.

Actually, have you already seen the promo video released 9 months ago? (Go to their website if not.) It starts with "Vitals dropping, are we there yet?", and that IS cr-so1 voice.

In that promo video we can also hear Cunningham and Freebird's voices, though I can't tell who the actors are.

I find it easy to voice act if i see the other character's scripts as well. That way i can react accordingly like if it's anger or sadness. Images do help too..

The only problem i have is that if i scream loud the microphone breaks. hahahaha! ^_^;

Stephanie has had quite the full plate, what with being Kirie (Girls Bravo), Nagisa (Yume de Aetara), and Aya (Shira Oka)... so I'll give this game a play when it's released, just to hear how everyone sounds like. Should be fun, too....

@cjiwakura Yeah Kenichi Tsuchiya was the composer, but Shoji Meguro was involved as well. I mean, I know I'm using wikipedia as my source, but I also heard he was involved with the DS and Wii version of the first game. I don't think he does like anything though on the series now.

That's why I'm asking if he did for this one. Meguro is one of my favorite vg composers.

Strange acoustical choice having a flat surface (TV screen) in-line with the vocal mic - this would create the most early-reflections and phase cancellation into the vocal mic.

I think it's probably far enough away that it doesn't matter much.
