My original point was that the actions in Iraq/Afghanistan have failed. The purpose of Afghanistan was to (a) apprehend Bin Laden and (b) stop Al Qaeda: both have failed. The purpose of Iraq was to find/destroy weapons of mass destruction: there were none. And yet we still face a 'severe' terror threat!
