Yea... it seems to me after looking at the 00:02 time with both on screen and before they swerve that this was actually a chicken dare thing I'm guessing.. who swerves first?

Reason is that at 00:02 they are both in the middle of the road and funnily enough there was a camera right there filming when this happened. Seems fixed cam, maybe they placed it on a holder thing and off they went.

Could be a lot of things. From this angle, can't really see who's at fault here. Could be the black car was distracted and red car attempting to avoid it or the red car was on the wrong side of the road so black car was on the other lane to avoid the red car.

The black car from the beginning of the vid was alerted due to the red car being on the opposite lane.

He verged the middle of the road so he can be ready to jump left or right, depending on what the red car would do.

Apparently the red car who had ALREADY LOST TRACTION for some reason (asleep? phone? woman?) decided to suddenly go back to his lane, therefore the black car did a swift turn back to his lane.

If you cannot see that, stay OFF THE ROADS please.

This is a documentary on poor roads. It was shoot in Brazil, where I live. The road is so full of huge holes on the tarmac that cars don't respect the lanes anymore. The guy driving the Opel car avoided an accident. The red car is so busy getting away from the holes on the road it does not realize a car is coming on his direction. Could have been a lot worse.
