  • absolutely right... all the rules have changed... the only way to make hyperlocal news work is to *not only* make it free, *but also* make it understandable to community individuals on a "WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?" level. And, I have a very powerful way of framing it and drawing people in -- haven't been able to go public with it yet, but eventually I will.
