i was about 8 years old and I saw him on Tv. He just did the moonwalk and I was overwhelmed and totally rigid standing in front of the TV. And I sad to my sister: "Who's this man? He can do magic!" I was about 9 years old I think and it was time for MJ's album "History" to be released. Me and my father went down to all stores in town, 3 hours after they all opened.
