@ulqigingino Technically, in the original Japanese language it would in fact be Shidou as the Japanese hiragana has no single consonants other than "n" so it would be "shi-do-u" those 3 hiragana sets together. The American version may have it posted as otherwise but since this originally a Japanese manga/anime it would be "Shidou". My Japanese is pretty fluent and I know it couldn't be "Sidou". Sorry.

Okay, to those who are wondering why Mello had to retouch the notebook:

Snider technically didn't touch the notebook himself, because when they made the exchange he was wearing that bulky suit. If the owner didn't touch it, nobody can see the shinigami yet. So when Snider actually touched it, everyone else had to retouch it to see the shinigami. Hope that clears things up. ^.^
