the game between the eagles and the saints was the same exact outcome of the lions vs. the saints. fuck the pick six, the lions kept the game close too. were down 4 points during halftime. i didnt watch the lions saints game, but both games ended the same way. the defenses blew it.

I like football fans man. I like the Eagles as well, but when they play the home team, I stick with home. Eagles defense is not bad; Saints are loaded with talent. Their number one receiver from last year, is currently #4 on the depth chart, Lance Moore. The Saints are who I thought they were (Dennis Greene); You don't look at a 3rd preseason game as if it was not the prelude to the regular season. What's up PR haha the Giants prevail once again. Not very happy with the run defense, pretty bad overall when you let a team run the ball for 250 yards. Injuries are piling up that sucks, what can you do. Wide Receivers still unproven, but I like Eli Manning's last drive of the game he played very good. Next 3 games for the Giants are very winnable and maybe there is a possibility of the Giants starting 5-0.

If we kept on with those plays, also with the wildcat pass plays too me might have won by 3pnts or so but our D didn't step up to help our offense, but I got alot of faith in them this week. yesterday was embarassing. kolb looked good despite the 3 picks. the defense was absolutely pathetic. sure the saints have a great offense, but there's no way that a defense with this much talent should be giving up 48 points. pathetic effort, especially by brown, samuel, and the lb's. kansas city will help us get to 2-1, but we cant take them for granted because they haven't won in a long time, so they're hungry for a win too

this game was so frustrating, i no kolb played alright, but 3 picks are too much (and they all game in big spots).

the defense was horrible, i blame part of it on sean mcdermont, but most on the players. they bit at fakes way too much, and at the end of the game, it was almost as if they had given up entirely... hopefully we do better at kc.

our d played like shit, but the saints are the type of team where the eagles o needed to come out and win. in the first half, the eagles needed another TD or 2 instead of FG's and weaver should have caught that pass from westbrook in the endzone. the o needed to run the ball better to keep the ball out of brees's hands, give the D rest, and score points to help the D. the eagles d problem is that the Dline needs to pressure better when not blitzing when qb's like brees tear blitzes apart.

you know what, your right. this loss is a wake up call for the eagles and hopefully they get things fixed and everyone gets on the same page. a loss early on may help us in the long run to adjust. this can be when pittsburgh lost to us last year (losing by a small margin can be worse that getting blown out) and they had to make adjustments which lead them to beat baltimore the week after and go win the superbowl later on that season. they couldn't run as much and ben had to step up and so do we.
