This song was the first song I loved ever! I was five. It is a beautiful song, and I believe I memorized it by accident when I was younger. Meaning that "Live to Tell" was not my first to memorize, but it was the first I ever sung.

IMO Ray Of Light was her last best work. (as an album) Why she didn't continue with Orbit is beyond me. She went right to Mirwais after this and stayed around with him a bit too long.

I'm aware that Madonna does not repeat herself, but this is the true Madonna, the true essence of her creativity and her artistry, and I wish she would produce more music like this... the Ray of Light record was unique among all her works and the most profound.
