@PITBULL35383 Dude... Go jump off a cliff... My 04 ram 2500 5.9 gets up to 24mpg highway, when empty with the chip turned to the most efficient setting.... If i dont change anything and add my 25 foot toy hauler on that it drops to about 19-20mpg depending on how much is in the toy hauler... If i get on it hard around town i can get as little as 10mpg where as if i drive completely conservatively i can get up to 20mpg in town with an empty truck.
what's the point of making a classic muscle like the camaro... 4cyl and DIESEL btw!?!?! Please guys... strat with the fact that sport cars AREN'T Diesel. cheers all

I've been building up a 6.2L detroit, and added a banks diesel, I'm going to be putting it into a late 60's impala, caprice, wildcat, parisienne, or whatever I can get for under 2000$. I'm also planning on getting a 700r4, and 2.73:1 dif. I don't care if it takes me 9 seconds to reach 100km, I'll still be getting 35mpg's! Not to mention, my parents have home heating oil, which I can use as fuel for free :P
car is awesome, love how you made it unique and keep it clean as well. What cam are you running in that thing? Im swapping a 4bt into my rat rod here over the winter so any pointers would be awesome. Again awesome ride.

@kenfo0 well if you do the math a 7.30 in the 1/4 mile would be around 185-195 mph so if you ever drag raced you would know that mph would be 1/8 so now that we have that established and what do you mean by what am I saying it's clear read it lol it depends how you drive it on what mpg you get
I love everything about diesel especially Cummins, but putting a diesel in a muscle car should be illegal I'm sorry. Diesels belong in pick-ups, big rigs, farm equipment etc. Muscle cars are supposed to have a big block with a straight pipe rorar.

47RH out of a 94-95 dodge ram cummins 2wd the 4bt and the 6bt are primarily the same other than two cylinders missing and anything that pertains to the 4bt such as injection lines injection pump exhaust manifold oil pan and internals will not work same bore and stroke as the 6 cylinder tho so piston and rods may work depending on year of engines the backplate is off a 6bt out of a dodge ram and the wiring harness on the car is still stock same wiring for the starter and we had to wire a shutoff
