You are truly merciful and God shall smile on you.
In this day and age when some people while driving would speed up rather than slow down a few lousy miles an hour to give an animal a fair chance at getting out of their way unharmed, You have redeemed us if even by some small measure.
P.S. Cats are Awesome, and Eby is a real fighter. Good save sir!
Hey yesisalazar91- We originally went there to see if he could be tended to there, then found out that that wasn't the case. Thanks for the recommendation for KAAWS, turned out great there.
@Dslyecxi Good on you for this video. Funny thing it that it is my birthday today and I donated $100 to the Animal Welfare Service NSW. Then I saw this video... coincidence.
This reminds me of a kitten we found a few years ago. She was only a few days old and very sick. Chances that she'd make it, were very slim, but she made it through anyway, even though she lost sight in one eye. The vet said she'd remain a weak little kitten for the rest of her life, but she came out surprisingly fine. Unfortunately she died two years ago due to an illness :( Great to see this one doing so wonderful!
i remember when my cat got an surgery, they said to me when they'll open her stomach and if its to bad they will put her to sleep... at that time piece of my heart died.
That is an amazing story. Do cats really heal so quick that they can play full contact with other cats despite such a significant wound on their body still with stitches?
@QuakePhil - I think all of the 'active' footage in this is after he had his stitches/staples removed. Before that, we kept him from getting too rough with the other cats (he certainly tried) to prevent accidents with the wound site. Once he was healed up, though - bam, he was off.
That kitty sure gets around well for having only 3 legs! I've never seen a 3-legged cat. So glad you rescued the kitty and gave him (her?) a new lease on life! Cute watching him (her?) playing, makes me wanna get a kitty again sooner than when I move...
This video made me not only smile, it brought tears of sadness and happiness, thank you so much for sharing this!!

Great story Dslyecxi, that cat is a keeper! :)
He's such a survivor, I love cats so much.
A few years ago my cat fell off from my apartment on the 4th floor, I thought I had lost him for ever but found him back some days later.
9 lives for sure.

It's awesome to see Eby doing so well. I think more important than anything we did was the love and caring you showed giving Eby the will to live.

Thanks man, thanks. Eby the armacat, a most worthy mascot!

The thing about this that amazes me is the fact of the agility even after the injury! Eby runs faster than my fully healthy cat!
