Thunderfoot deliberately dodges plain and clear questions like whether he thinks it right to punish a murderer of a little girl, because he continually tries to move Ray from advancing his argument. The thing most people miss is that the burdon of proof lies on the person proving, not disproving. Whether Thunderfoot believes in the punishment is neither here nor there.

Atheists have no answer for death.None. If you look at society, we don't deal with death well do we? We don't want to think it even exists. The fact is man was never created to process death because of the fall of man in the creation account. It is why innately we shun it, don't know what to say to loved ones or friends when someone close to them dies. It triggers tears and weeping and depression. Again, atheists have no 'logical' explanation for death.

It goes like this: Your brain ceases to function along with all the vital chemical processes in all your cells so as to stop them from self repairing or replicating. People, just like some other animals, become sad when a familiar no longer exists. Words from others is for soothing effects I suppose. Either way, I think it's merely an assumption on your part that people can't find words of condolences. But again, there is no significance of all this and it's borderline silly.

I cant watch this anymore... You don't have to sit there and argue everything with a creationist to get your point across. Read the bible or the koran and ask THEM questions about conflicting passages. What they are really arguing about is ethical systems utilizing whatever knowledge they posses. Ray comfort however, makes a good argument for Deism not theism.
Comfort is really s_l_o_w. One one hand, though, it would be kind of refreshing to be so simple as to never ever have any deep or inquisitive thoughts. But it's kinda scary also. When someone sees the world in such black and white ways, who never stops and questions their own knowledge or understanding, they can do horrible things while telling you that you are horrible for doubting them. He frightens me.

The desire for afterlife (or rebirth) is our last cry from our survival drive. We can't really comprehend our own mortality and this survival drive wants us to continue forever. When we get so weak and infirm before death, we accept our death as a means to continue. Wow, i just finished watching the 3rd installment of this discussion and it so happens that Ray Comfort mentions the little girl in Florida who was buried alive. Her name was Jessica Marie Lunsford. I wish I could go into it more, but it is not relevant to the conversation. I can however say that as you talk about justice, there are laws of balance in place that seem to take care of justice, as a christian may see the need for vengeance or retibution, however, not through man, but science.
When part 2 ended, an ad popped up asking, "do you need prayer?" That couldn't be just a coincident. It's a message from GOD! Yes! Yes, I need prayer!

Atheists have no answer for death.None. If you look at society, we don't deal with death well do we? We don't want to think it even exists. The fact is man was never created to process death because of the fall of man in the creation account. It is why innately we shun it, don't know what to say to loved ones or friends when someone close to them dies. It triggers tears and weeping and depression. Again, atheists have no 'logical' explanation for death.

People, just like some other animals, become sad when a familiar no longer exists. Words from others is for soothing effects I suppose. And when Ray is given a scientific question in turn, again the answer is lacking in the scientific sense. Why can't Ray have an honest discussion about things? I have to commend TF for his patience, I certainly would not have been able to remain so polite and calm. Particularly when TF tells Ray that people who are mentally ill should be incarcerated but not punished, Ray agrees, yet than persists that such crimes are what hells for *headdesk*

Christianity is the #1 religion in the world. anyone who believes that Jesus is the son of God and the Christ, Savior, Messiah, ect. is Christian. There are many subdivisions but that's ok. so it isnt quite a losing battle. Everyone thinks they are right, but if i take my life orders from a book, thats ok with me. Comfort is really s_l_o_w. One one hand, though, it would be kind of refreshing to be so simple as to never ever have any deep or inquisitive thoughts. But it's kinda scary also. When someone sees the world in such black and white ways, who never stops and questions their own knowledge or understanding, they can do horrible things while telling you that you are horrible for doubting them. He frightens me.

Oxford dictionary, personality: 1: the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character. electricity has qualities and charcteristics that form it's character. They may not be complex enough qualities and characteristics for electricity to develop language or have "thoughts" but electricity still has behavior.

Wow, i just finished watching the 3rd installment of this discussion and it so happens that Ray Comfort mentions the little girl in Florida who was buried alive. Her name was Jessica Marie Lunsford. I wish I could go into it more, but it is not relevant to the conversation. I can however say that as you talk about justice, there are laws of balance in place that seem to take care of justice, as a christian may see the need for vengeance or retibution, however, not through man, but science.

If I was there around 9:30, I would've said "So God sends people to Hell for not believing in something with no evidence? But wait, he's omniscient, isn't he? Why would he let somebody be born, know he will send them to burn forever after their only life, and then become angry when they finally die and they still don't believe in him? Either God is an ignorant bastard, or a cruel and sick S.O.B. playing games with us."

I'm amazed that Thunderf00t can maintain a straight face through this "debate", especially when Ray goes off about how God would naturally feel anger towards a man who raped a little girl. HEY RAY, I HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU BUT YOUR GOD DIDN"T SEEM TO HAVE MUCH PROBLEM WITH INCEST, RAPE, INCESTUOUS RAPE, MURDER et al in THE F-ING BIBLE. You "feel" that he does now because you base God's personality on our current modern idea of ethics, which is much different from that of 2,000 years ago.

Thunderf00t wasn't keeping a straight face. You can see that he becomes frustrated with Ray Comfort's ignorance. Thunderf00t especially shows his frustration when he interrupts Comfort's rants of fallacious idiocy with clarification. You notice that from what Comfort says, he has no expertise in psychology, physics, or for that matter any subject I can think of. I'm doubtful that he went to college. If he did, it must be a sheltered college with little free thought.

I love how Ray keeps asking for Thunderf00t to "show his evidence of there being no afterlife" or "show his evidence of there not being a god". He continually attempts to shift the burden of proof off of himself. LACK of evidence for there NOT being a god isn't evidence of the existence of god. You can't prove that Bigfoot doesn't exist. You can only prove that he DOES, and assume that he doesn't until presented with evidence to the contrary.
So how about you show some of YOUR evidence, Ray?

@theUKatheist Most atheists like Thunderf00t and like myself get uneasy during face-to-face discussion. Some people have this, it's not a problem, some might even say it's a gift. People like this, during face-to-face arguments shiver even when it's warm, look in their opponent's direction without looking them in the eye until their point is made, heartbeat racing, constant loss of train of thought. But due to these aspects, people like this have absolutely no time to waste on emotion, or anger.
