The fireworks are amazing but damn the "choreography" (if you could call it that) really could use work. The timing is SOO on sometimes but other times its like uhhh lights don't match the music at ALL. I think all they need to do is implement a good dance choreographer and it'd be 20 times as good. Not to say it wasn't absolutely beautiful, but just playin the super critic :D

Sydney New Year fireworks are definitely the best in the world, and I had the privilege to be right there on NYE 2009!

I was to the right of the bridge, in that park that is beside it and goes under it. It was an alright spot, except you couldn't hear the music that went with the show and the smoke from the fireworks made it hard to see them going off.

But it was great to look over at the Sydney opera house and see a sparkling array of photographer flashes going off.

2:54 was the best.

And Sydney's fireworks are my top favourite by far caue they're the best !!! The harbour lights up so beautifully! i'd have to disagree with you there. i live in sydney, and we do put on a spectacular show, but i suggest you look at the Atlantis Hotel fireworks in Dubai. 40 million dollars worth of fireworks as it happens

Nah....that show was simply a show off of fire power....I see no style in it though. The one in Sydney is truly amazing, this personal opinion not because of I live in Sydney. The atmosphere was so intense, comparing to the one in Dubai....the fireworks was huge but lack of celebration if u know what I mean.

To really appreciate it as a grand show is difficult due to the fact that I've never been to one like the video in person, so I wouldn't know what to expect. This is just unbelievable! I've had the honour to join the Sydney NYE spectacle and firework last year and it was definately worth to travel (from germany) there for that event!

On of the best shows i've ever seen so far but the last minute with the 'burning' harbour bridge is the best - like last year.
