I think he messed up at that section. Watch him at the "talking to the walls" and you'll see him look over at the guitar player and make a "gag me" motion.

He may have made a little error in the lyrics but the motion he made was probably to the sound man. It's a universal sign a singer uses to tell a sound guy that his voice is too loud in the stage monitors and that it needs to be turned down.
