Depends on the rest of your system.. but with today's average system probably a 650-watt/35+amp but you need to have 2 PCI-E Power connectors as well.

If you want to take your computer somewhere (lan party or some shit), or when you move, get new parts, etc. Do you have to drain the res, and hoses etc? If so, how long does it take to refill them and get the bubbles out?

u dont have to take the coolant out if your moving your pc anywhere.

the coolant is good for 2 to 3 years.

only reason u would drain your coolant is if your going to add more heat sinks or any other thing u want to water cool inside your case.

and it should take about 30 mins to put in the coolant and get the bubbles out. it took me long because it was my first time but when i do it again it should take about 30 mins.

Its a tight fit in my 1200, but that's because i have the extra fan blowing fan on it.

But i look around and i was told it should fit, just make sure u put your hard-drive in before i put the card.

I've compaired other systems with the GTX 295, GTX 280 Sli gets 2800 more in 3D mark vantage scores, The Gtx 285 is Only an amped up version of the Gtx 280, In fact a Oc'd Gtx 280 is the same as a Gtx 285 in every way, the memory,specs did not change.

Man, I LOVE your videos! Been waiting for this for a very long time. Gonna get the exact same comp as you, maybe with XFX mobo and gpu. One thing I was wondering. Should I get Gtx 295 or Gtx 285, then later buy another 285? Then the comp will cost less when I build it and its alot more chance that I buy another 285 than running 295 in quad sli... There is not that much different in cost betweeb 285 sli and 295 :)

Well if u are planning of getting the 285 and then doing sli. that will be maybe a bit better then the 295. the drivers for the 295 dont really unless all the power of the card.

i would go with the 295 and wait for better drivers, only game i have some problems is GTa4 but thats because that game doesnt support sli, i have to turn one gpu off and then maybe 1 into the game i lose vram.

What's your voltage @ for the I7 920 to get 4ghz? I'm using 1.275v on a GA X58 Extreme to get 3.8ghz atm with G.Skill CL9 1600Mhz 6GB ram (BLCK: 200x19 synced). I also have a EVGA GTX 295 and am very pleased with it, gonna order a second one tomorrow :).

Also does that volt stableizer option/tweaks do much to help aid in higer overclocks on the EVGA board? I'm waiting for the X58 Classified to get released here in Aus.

nah, when the 6 series was out, people had stuff like a 6600gt and a 6600gts in sli but its not worth the hastle.

put one of the temp sensors from the sentry somewhere on the graphics card so you keep an eye on it

I think you can actually slide the 2 pin into 6 pin so it stays together as 8 pin look on side of the cables I have the same thing it has one part that can slide into the 6 pin side and prevents against separating them

yeah the NX295 that was reviewed by Trub is good but you need really separate radiator if you want to OC it. I"m just worried about the microstuttering on all these dual cards

Actually the microstutterin problem has near enough been whiped out with the new dual cards.

I've not seen any cases of micro stutter with the GTX 295 yet and I know a few people who have them in quad sli =]

And yes a dual loop would be most recommended for cooling the GPU's to.

Those 295's are very good looking cards.

well he said he better get 3 285 and he did so I guess it was very bad he told me that all his tries to sli or Xfire dual cards came with same results the 295 just made him upset he put them in garbage but in real world who can afford new card with such performance every week like he does and who can really afford to get 2 of them. Trubritar had amazing temps but with 15 C inside the room that's insane. Of course you are going to get the 30 C on card I have 22 on CPU in such temperature
