I like your picks, but I really don't agree with the King of the Mountain, although that's probably just because I'm not really a fan of any of the wrestlers other than Joe that you picked. The ending is cool, though.
Not only did your KOTM match have lack of star power, but by picking those guys you have lack of spots. There has to be a few good spots in the KOTM match to keep people interested. Why do you think that the steel cage match between HHH and RKO was so boring at Judgment Day?
Also, MCMG vs LAX isn't a good idea. There's no build up for their title match. Two top tag teams competing without heat will result in lack of crowd attention and interest. Team 3D vs LAX definately has heat behind it.

No, you're trying to make TNA into ROH if you think the TNA fans will be satisfied with stiff kicks hard open-palm slaps. I just watched a ROH PPV on demand today and was bored with 85% of the wrestling. Sure, in hind-sight the matches were solid, but the spots will always stand out.
With a choice of 5 guys, you have to pick people who bring something unique to the table. Everyone involved in the KOTM match is a bit average/standard. At least Christian's in the match, which gives some hope.
I like the AJ/Kurt thing and KOTM but I don't think MCMG and LAX are ready to fight. I think they should fight but not until No Surrender. Build it up so they can have their match for the tag titles in Ultimate X at Bound for Glory 08. I think the fans would like to see Booker T vs Joe at Victory Road for the title then Christian vs Booker T. You can have Joe win by interference. It won't take creadibility away from Booker T or Joe but at least the fans will know why he didn't win the title.
You put Roode and Matt Morgan both in king of the mountain do you want Joe, Storm, and Tomko to kill themselves bumping to make up for the lack of craziness that Roode and Morgan bring to the table. Petey and Kaz doesn't have enough steam to it for twenty minutes though. Points for Sting/Muta though.

Would you book a Monster's Ball without a table, would you book Money in the bank without a ladder spot. King of the Mountain is supposed to be the best of both worlds, booking it to be a straight up brawl would be a complete letdown.
Actualy you could have a great Monster's Ball match with out ONE table spot. There are a lot of other "spots" you can use and things that will make it just as good maybe even better becouse it will be something you don't see all the time.

what i like best about this ppv booking is that while the card doesnt look too great, it gives tna what it needs right now..... storylines with longevity. and making sense they don't need groundbreaking storylines or bullshit gimmick matches, just something makes sense.

Jeff coming back is ok, until he starts winning titles. Then it's just turning into a HHH thing. With so many talented wrestlers in line for the TNA title, it would be a shame for Jarrett to throw himself into the main event again for a year.

Mabye you should talk about ROH Livewire and the matches they put up on their site one time. They just finished a series of Nigel Mcguiness interviews that I found entertaining and there is a classic matches section now.
I liked your idea for the Angle/Styles match. Great way for AJ to get a push from Angle and allow Karen to return to being a heel with her.(Which I believe she is better at)
i like your ending but instead of having joe piece the guitar together i would have a lookdown of angry joe at a calm looking nash then have jarrett come from the crowd behind joe , nash does a smile and points, then joe would turn around and get leveled w/ another guitar shot and have nash hold jarretts hand up at the end standing over joes body.

LAX won the titles again, last month, yet you already want to put the titles onto the MCMGs. I may be mistaken, but wouldn't that be shitting all over TNA's efforts, to try and rebuild a dynamic tag division around LAX as the top team?
TNA's put some major work into making LAX look like a #1 team again, and it seems like you kill that in one month.
People are going to want to cheer Jarrett, when he returns, and heel Jarrett is staler than heel HHH.
When Jarrett came out, during the build to Lockdown 2007, and Kabong'd whoever he hit, the crowd went ape shit for him.
After voluntarily taking himself away from wrestling, to be a father to his children, in the absence of the recently deceased, Jill Jarrett, R.I.P., there's almost no way I can see people booing the guy.
I don't know about Joe retaining the title in King of the Mountain. The every time they do that match they advertise that fact that no champion has walked out with the gold. I think that TNA should keep 1 spot open and have Jarrett or Lashley come out and cost Joe the match. Then have those two feued for a while.
I also like the ending to the King of the Mountain Match. My only quirp is i think the heated confrontation between Booker T and Joe should be carried into the King of the Mountain Match, so Booker should be involved in the match. If you put Christian and Rhino, you can carry on that feud as well, and you have Christian who can do all of the crazy insane looking highspots and bumps.
Joe, Roode, Christian, Rhino, and Booker T with the same ending and layout that you booked. Awesome match!
Like your ideas on this ppv. Especially the ending to the Angle/AJ match. Although my fear is that Angle isn't healthy enough to be in that match for Slammiversary. That's something I can see happening at Victory Road or some other ppv during the summer. And it makes sense because Kurt is actually showing true emotion for Karen, which is what she wanted, Even though he's choking the life out of AJ. It's twisted but I like it.
Great video. I'm not sure the ending, with Joe piecing the bits of guitar together, with it reading Jeff Jarret on the back would be brilliant, a bit cheesy maybe. I thought he could have just maybe held up the broken guitar as the PPV ends? Maybe the fans wouldn't get the guitar=Jarret reference, but there's a good chance they would do.
I support TNA as a business and an entertainment entity, but when you have to go on You Tube to hire people to do public relations and promotion (aka Bill & Doug), that's pretty fucking pathetic. There are literally hundreds of people who do wrestling shoots (myself included) but it doesn't qualify anyone to do marketing for a million dollar company.
I have to say that if I didn't know better i'd say you were doing a review for a TNA ppv back in the day. Thats a really good card and it really pushes the story lines forward instead of having them drag out. Good job
nah I don't hate Nash as such, I just think it's very iffy. I dont like the idea of the use of the phone and Joe would be as angry at Nash than Jarrett as Nash was the one who hit him with the guitar and then also we would have another aliance between Nash and Jarrett which we have already seen in TNA and WCW

this was great booking, setting up alot of further mtaches and even adding in a dream match of Sting and Muta. I love the way u booked the KOTM, interesting angle with Jeff jarret. Briliant set up for a awesomke feud.
I like the tag matches and the back stories. But I just can't see why bring Jarret back like that? On a back of a guitar. Maybe you could see Nash walking into a locker room and speaks and end the PPV like this. Then you could have on the next impact joe going crazy beating everyone up. Then at the end you have nash and joe in the ring then jarret appears from no where and hits joe with a guitar.

Im lookin forword to the King Of The Mountain match because you got James Storm,Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe who are 3 homegrown talents and you got 2 WWE rejects Tyson Tomko and Matt Morgan. LAX vs MCM will be good but Hernandez will dominate both Shelly and Sabin during that match.
TNA, seriosly, hire this man. I waited for the AJ/Christian feud to have a payoff .. none, same with all TNA feuds in the last 18 months. AJ/Angle, book it Gabe!... I mean TNA! . force of habit/

Anyways, good booking. The match and promo lengths do seem a bit long, but they do add up to about 2 hrs and 55 min, which is weird, b/c it seems like it should be longer than that by just looking at it.
Not perfect (for one, the last thing TNA needs is Jeff Jarrett back in the title picture), but it's still better booking than anything Russo's produced this year.

Bringing back Jeff Jarett would be a great way to put TNA out of buisness. I don't wanna see him. TNA has done a horrible job setting up for this PPV tho and it seems like neither your ideas or Bill and Dougs are really all that great and make me wanna order. Plus isn't Slamminversary their #2 PPV like Summerslam is to WWE. So why does the hype for it seem so damn weak?
And I don't see Muta/Sting really being a good draw.

Great card but the thing i fear is if TNA do make the match between AJ Styles & Kurt Angle that they would not but AJ Styles over because its like TNA just does not care about AJ Styles anymore which is pathetic

Truthslayer you should be head booker/writer at TNA it would be a far healthy company it that were true. That is a great PPV you dreamt up pity the real thing won't be half as good. Bill and Doug have their heads so far up TNA managements arses it's untrue.

Better than Bill and Doug's fake card. Your matches make sense and theirs were only based on spots from lockdown.TNA should not use there weekly shows because unlike you they do not focus on the real issues.

i like this, tna should listen, but i think that joe shouldnt completly destroy everyone, but roode should get kinda squashed at first to put over joe then morgan and him brawl, but morgan looks like there is a small chance he chould win, then nash does that, then joe chokes out two people and wins something like that

Last comment on your card:
LAX won the titles again, last month, yet you already want to put the titles onto the MCMGs. I may be mistaken, but wouldn't that be shitting all over TNA's efforts, to try and rebuild a dynamic tag division around LAX as the top team?
TNA's put some major work into making LAX look like a #1 team again, and it seems like you kill that in one month.
People are going to want to cheer Jarrett, when he returns, and heel Jarrett is staler than heel HHH.

I don't know about Joe retaining the title in King of the Mountain. The every time they do that match they advertise that fact that no champion has walked out with the gold. I think that TNA should keep 1 spot open and have Jarrett or Lashley come out and cost Joe the match. Then have those two feued for a while.

I also like the ending to the King of the Mountain Match. My only quirp is i think the heated confrontation between Booker T and Joe should be carried into the King of the Mountain Match, so Booker should be involved in the match. If you put Christian and Rhino, you can carry on that feud as well, and you have Christian who can do all of the crazy insane looking highspots and bumps.
Joe, Roode, Christian, Rhino, and Booker T with the same ending and layout that you booked. Awesome match!

Like your ideas on this ppv. Especially the ending to the Angle/AJ match. Although my fear is that Angle isn't healthy enough to be in that match for Slammiversary. That's something I can see happening at Victory Road or some other ppv during the summer. And it makes sense because Kurt is actually showing true emotion for Karen, which is what she wanted, Even though he's choking the life out of AJ. It's twisted but I like it.

Great video. I'm not sure the ending, with Joe piecing the bits of guitar together, with it reading Jeff Jarret on the back would be brilliant, a bit cheesy maybe. I thought he could have just maybe held up the broken guitar as the PPV ends? Maybe the fans wouldn't get the guitar=Jarret reference, but there's a good chance they would do.

I support TNA as a business and an entertainment entity, but when you have to go on You Tube to hire people to do public relations and promotion (aka Bill & Doug), that's pretty fucking pathetic. There are literally hundreds of people who do wrestling shoots (myself included) but it doesn't qualify anyone to do marketing for a million dollar company.

nah I don't hate Nash as such, I just think it's very iffy. I dont like the idea of the use of the phone and Joe would be as angry at Nash than Jarrett as Nash was the one who hit him with the guitar and then also we would have another aliance between Nash and Jarrett which we have already seen in TNA and WCW

Good PPV
I like the tag matches and the back stories. But I just can't see why bring Jarret back like that? On a back of a guitar. Maybe you could see Nash walking into a locker room and speaks and end the PPV like this. Then you could have on the next impact joe going crazy beating everyone up. Then at the end you have nash and joe in the ring then jarret appears from no where and hits joe with a guitar.

Pretty good card. I can't wait to see how Bill and Doug respond to this. They'll dump all over it just cause they know it's better than theirs. B&D need serious help, they need to learn how they Don't know everything about wrestling and how other people know more. Thats how the card should be set up. Im lookin forword to the King Of The Mountain match because you got James Storm,Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe who are 3 homegrown talents and you got 2 WWE rejects Tyson Tomko and Matt Morgan. LAX vs MCM will be good but Hernandez will dominate both Shelly and Sabin during that match.

Anyways, good booking. The match and promo lengths do seem a bit long, but they do add up to about 2 hrs and 55 min, which is weird, b/c it seems like it should be longer than that by just looking at it.

Bringing back Jeff Jarett would be a great way to put TNA out of buisness. I don't wanna see him. TNA has done a horrible job setting up for this PPV tho and it seems like neither your ideas or Bill and Dougs are really all that great and make me wanna order. Plus isn't Slamminversary their #2 PPV like Summerslam is to WWE. So why does the hype for it seem so damn weak?
And I don't see Muta/Sting really being a good draw.

Everything seems good except for the Sting/Muta match. It is too long and Muta way too busy with him being president of All Japan and IWGP champ.
