This is one of the best ever Premier League goals, up there with the Matt le Tissier goal against Newcastle, as like that goal, no other like it has been scored in the Premier League - obviously there have been other volleys but not one where the player jumpied up in the air and hit the ball, almost at head height, whilst running at high speed from 18 yards.

Being such a unique goal, I found it a travesty that it lost out on goal of the season to a generic Wayne Rooney counter-attack goal!
