Hopefully he becomes a solid 2nd line center. If he lives up to his expectations, I'm expecting a decent 50 point season in the near future.

He is kind of like Filatov. Both very talented players but weren't successful due to the organization they stayed in. Trust me, Pheonix and Columbus are two of the few teams in the NHL that can really kill a good prospect.

So, he's um...on the Coyotes' roster.

? Phoenix is a quality team. They've made the playoffs for the last 2 seasons with 100+ point seasons while the sens were a lottery pick last summer. Keep in mind I wrote the comment 9 months ago. Any top 3 pick who hasn't done anything in the NHL 4 years later while Kane and JVR are deep into their NHL careers will start to look like a bust.

Turris should be a special player one day. It was a mistake to take him out of Wisconsin after only one season. He's not physically ready to be in the NHL.  hopefully he'll thrive in the AHL for the rest of the season.

The picture of Wayne Gretzky that stands out the most in my memory is the one during NBC live telecast of the Gold Medal hockey championship game during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Utah USA. It showed him standing up cheering the canadian squad every time they scored against Team USA.

I was there also. I am from Columbus, Ohio so for a hockey fan I was very pleased we got the draft this year. I was standing and cheering with the rest of them at this time. I have never had so much fun at a sporting event. Talked to Gratchev (106 pick Islanders) for over 20 minutes. Good guy.
