  • What would be your favorite all around shoe based on comfort and performance

  • would u reccomand the bikilas or the treksports if im a cross country runer ???

  • got the some fuckin pair!!!!!!!!!

  • SInce you have the three pair i need to know about i will ask you, :)

i have a pair of bikilas, i am thinking about the KSO or the TrekSport. Which do you like better? which holds up best and is more comfortable? and does the bigher back bother you at all? Let me know!, look at my video for what i mean about not knowing what size. thanks!

  • @DirtRoadPrincess5993 I like the kso better. Gives me better feel and more wiggle room. The KSO Trek are nice but feel more like shoes because of the thick sole

  • i run cross country for my high school and use the treksports. I highly recommend them

  • cool shos man

  • if someone bought those toe socks do you think it would still feel comfortable if you wore them with these shoes?

  • @RadicalSrfrBoy i have tried them and if you get a very thin under amour type material sock they feel okay but just regular toe socks would not fit in the toes.

  • Alerio you convinced me to buy the TrekSport, nice vid, can't wait for mine to arrive

  • which is better for summer activities when its really hot? like marching band? should these be good for that kind of thing?

  • i want them so bad.

  • which do you think has a better versatility and durability? treksport or the bikilas?

im planning on running/walking on trails, track fields, grass, and cement concreate. i want to buy a pair that lastest the longest (i tend to wear out my sneakers easily).

  • Do you think that that "un known" stuff around the bottom of your new she may be neoprene?

  • I wear a 10 1/5 in a regular shoe would that be a accurate size to go with when buying the trek sport?

  • Those blue ones are sooo ugly..Unless you're gay then it's cool I guess haha nice treks man I want them

  • Good Video! For purchases in Ireland and UK check out fit feet.ie

  • Hello. Thanks for the review. I had a question. Do you know how well the things respond to pool water. I saw a guy at the gym wearing kso in the pool and I was wondering if the chlorine would damage them?

  • Wow! You're totally selling me on the TrekSport!

  • @SalvadorLosAngeles Sal based off you're vids I think you would love these!! They are awesome on trails

  • @Alerio Your video sold me. I just ordered some from CitySports. These last two days are the longest ever. Hurry CitySports!

P.S. We have the same bedspread. Strange. Perhaps great minds do think alike!

  • @SalvadorLosAngeles Haha that is def strange! It must be the runners mind haha let me know how those VFF turn out for you! And keep making videos I really enjoy them

  • @Alerio Thanks. I'll keep you posted on my next vid. Perhaps I'll do a review of the TrekSports!

  • I got a pair a while ago actually and they are really tough shoes. i love them! and that "felt-like" material you were talking about is actually kangaroo leather. they have the materials on the website. over all its the best shoe i have ever sank $100.00 in.

  • $100!!!!!! Holy shit! :O

  • eh the quality of the shoe is terrible for the price my friend had them after a week the seem were the glue met the mesh already started to come un glued had to use shoe goo id wait after awhile to so that the quality gets better thats just me he ran the long beach marathon in them said they were great quality wise no

  • @MrCavScoutout Maybe they were counterfeit?

  • @ind20000 no he went to REI to get em so there real

  • @MrCavScoutout That's weird, most people's seem to last for quite a while before wearing out.

  • @MrCavScoutout you probably just got a bad pair. it happens all the time with everything from shoes to cars to game systems. and there is the possibility that they were counterfeit. ONLY ORDER ONLINE OR FROM A LISTED RETAILER! NOWHERE ELSE!

  • @jacobjjr2 na but going to the store is much better road runner or rei we know where to go

  • Also from my comment below can use these in water? Thanks so much!

  • Hello VFF fans. I was hoping you guys could answer some questions for me!

    1. If I get the VFF Treksport I would use it for like trails and hiking so does it hurt to walk in them?

    2. Is the grip good in these?

    3. Right now my Vibram size is 39 (checked it at a store that sold Vibrams). I'm going to get these (if I do) In March. So do you think I would grow into a size 40 by March? I'm 12.

Thanks and please respond and answer.

  • Nice, you can buy this shoes in Manhattan?

    Thank´s in advances

  • Nice video. Great shoe, thinking about getting the trek sport myself. I liked the comparison to the kso and bikila.

  • Dude, you've got to hold the product in the focus.....!!

  • What is the sizing like. I want a pair, but there is no where near me to try any on, and I'll have to order them online. I just want to get the size right on the first try.

  • their called trecksport... not sport trek.

  • I read an article on how to spot false versions of this company's shoes and the treksports appear to be fakes.

Real versions don't ever have shininess and the Vibram logo on the big toe should not cross over to the second toe.

I have not heard of citysport before so maybe they are legit, but i'm just lookin out for a fellow Vibram enthusiast.

  • @MrEuklav

Treksports are listed on vibrams website. They are also sold by official vibram retailers. I picked up a pair this weekend and I'm loving them. Great for hiking.

  • @MrEuklav

    Sorry, but you are wrong:

    1) CitySports is an official retailer,

    2) Vibram logo like in this video is OK, they cross a little the 2nd toe compartment

    3) I don't know what you mean with shininess. They do have retroreflectors on the instep strap sections and back on the heels, and also the grey strap and the plastics on the toe compartments shine.

  • good vid but i hate u

  • I LOVE VIBRAM !!!!!!!

  • I just got a pair of the sport trek today and they are my fav, i have 10 pair of Vibrams i need some speeds i have 4 kso 4 bikila and 1 classic and now one sport trek lol you gotta love them.

  • @chumbanga

You have a lot of pairs (almost as many as me) but very little variety. Hope at least they are in different colors.

  • Would u recommend getting the Sport trek for trail running vs the bikila?

I really want to get some but im not sure what i want to get

  • @FudgeBison

I think the answer to your question is obvious. What do you think the trek sole is intended for?

  • I noticed you were not wearing socks. Are they comfortable with out sock? I am considering getting a pair. It's just that I have a hard time finding the toe socks in bulk.

  • You lucky bastard! :o) I JUST found out about this style today, and I can't seem to find ANY one (non counterfeit) who sells them right now. :o(

  • I love those shoes ;DD

  • Great design. Just received mine from Citysports, as well, but I have to return them, as they run a size smaller than the regular KSO's. I wear a 42 in the Sprint, and a 41 in the KSO Trek, but these are definitely a size off. Sucks, too, because Citysports is out of 42's now. It's worth the wait though.

  • @fivefingersfree going by the sizing chart, they are the same as the KSO Trek size, so did you get them in 41?

  • @mysticalwoodsman Yeah, I bought them in a 41, but returned them and ordered 42s elsewhere. I've been wearing 5's for almost 3 years now, and have fit hundreds of people for them, as I work for REI. It's pretty common for both the 5's Brannock device and Vibram's sizing chart to be a bit off. Even sizes within the same style can vary. That's why I always suggest that people try them on in a store if possible or order 2 sizes to be sure. In this case, I didn't take my own advice. : )

  • @fivefingersfree OMG... I had to return them! Yesterday I finally found a company that had them in stock in size 42. You were right! :o/ It must be the difference in material that cause it to be too tight. It was on the verge of me almost keeping them, but man, yeah, they were just too tight right at the tips, otherwise they would have been a really good snug fit.

  • @mysticalwoodsman Yep. Sounds about right. I don't think it is so much a difference in the upper's material, as it is the variance in where they are manufactured. At least for the KSO styles. Just like when Vibram had to pull a major initial stock drop of Bikila's back in Spring when they were delivered to an East Coast retailer because the sizing was just too off for their standards. Guess that's the price of overseas' manufacturing. : ) Definitely gotta make sure you get the right size though!

  • @fivefingersfree

I dont agree with Ur size advise. I wear M40 in Treks and M41 in Sprints. I got M40 in TrekSports and at first they fit rather snug but after some days & hours wearing/hiking/running they stretched significantly. A looser size would have compromised running in trails.

BTW, I put both Treks & TrekSports side by side and the sole is exactly the same length (both are M40). Any difference is due to the vamps, but they are stretchy. If U size up, Ur shoes are gonna be too long.

  • @heathmoor That's my whole point: each style and specific pair MAY fit slightly differently. If 50% the time I I fit true to the 5's size chart, and then the other 50% of the time I don't, that's a discrepancy in sizing. It just looks like you've had a good run of luck with them. I've had customers try two pair of the exact same model and size on before, with both fitting them very differently. That's why I say always try them on. There should never be any extra room anyway if they fit right.

  • they remind me of toe socks.....but on steroids :P

  • Awesome! I get mine tomorrow!

  • was this shot with the nex 5???

  • @macluvr6 Yes it was

  • @Alerio how they feel? , just know the Vibram brand for 2 weeks and that mark only Treksports are the most caught my attention because they are the most similar to tennis shoes air that I use.

You can run well with them?

jumps are safe against scale and impact?

do not sweat the toes by using them?
