  • oh my god!!! thank you when i typed in guitar speed exercises you gave me tom hess!!! woooohooo!!!!!!

  • virtuoso!!!!!!!!!

  • For the past few years I've been practicing guitar a ton, but I didn't start really getting better until I tried this approach. Tom gives good advice. It's not all about precision and playing fast, you've actually got to strengthen the muscles that control what you're doing.

  • cool guitar

    really helpfull lesson aswell :D

  • Well this all SOUNDS logical but has any of you actually achieved anything with emplying this philosophy into practicing? I know paul gilbert said on a video that he never practiced each hand separatlely. But that's just him, even though everyone knows he's one of the fastest and most accurate.

  • I've never thought of it like this, it makes so much sense. Like playing the piano, you wouldn't start by playing both parts at the same time, you would practise them separately.

  • i dont think there is any more helpful lesson on the internet

  • you are a genius!!!

  • this is genius you are genius i have never thought of it till now

  • you are amazing fucking amazing!!! yea

  • This is a very good lecture
