I actually bought the Vado 1 based on your review, and the audio is HORRIBLE. I've since purchased the Ultra HD, and the video quality is better in low light and the audio is much more full/less tinny
@lockergnome I agree. People jump on the Flip just because of it's revolutionary name. I have a Kodak Zi8 and it is 10x better. Kodak = 1920 x 1080. Not the Flip. The Vado and Kodak ZiSeries are DOMINATING the Flip, currently. But you did extremely well with this review.

It's absolute crap, dude. Quality is junk compared to the Vado 3 or Kodak Zi8. Flip is just a brand name.

You forgot to say that it has NO image stabilizer and no optical zoom. But you don't need to worry about that if you want a simple HD camcorder.
