  • HAHAHAHAHAH GOTTA LOVE CLASSIC, FUCK YEAH \\♫//

  • Did they play this live?

    I bet it'd sound cool

  • What the fuck is with the Hitler guy?!

  • Cool how the guitars fade in, in the beginning.

  • feckin' awesome!

  • I love this song! Cannibal Corpse's cover of this song is pretty fuckin mean, too! If you can get over or like distorted vocals I think you'd enjoy it. Make sure it's the studio version;l.

  • Paradise City Riff!!!!

  • I had no idea they did a video for this....great, underrated song! Can't get enough of that riff....

  • Ian Gillian is one of the golden throats of all time, I was very thrilled to hear him doing Born Again with Black Sabbath, although it is not to great of a mix, I don't give a shit, I love every song off the album, Ian shreiks like crazy and Tony really did some superb fast shredding leads !!

I can't get enought of this album ,it rocks big in my book !

  • OZZY OSBOURNE himself once said: IAN GILLAN WAS THE GREATEST VOCALIST BLACK SABBATH HAS EVER HAD... Ozzy was 100% right ;)

  • Big IAN GILLAN was the greatest vocalist Black Sabbath has ever had...

Check out the GREATEST ROCK VOCALISTS LIST on Planet Rock - Gillan is #3, Ozzy #25 and as I remember, Dio is #35 or so...

So, long live to Ian Gillan - the greatest voice of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and of the whole rock music....

  • no, its really a matter of opinion. I prefer Ozzy

  • i concur

  • Ian Gillan is an amazing vocalist, i love DP he did a good job with Sabbath but Ozzy is amazing with them, his style of singing suits Sabbath songs better i think

  • song rocks.

  • Creepy album cover. This is firkin heavy. It is Deep Sabbath. Hated it back when.....Cool now.......Really heavy and has the Perfect Strangers element as well as a Sab connotation...

  • One of The most underrated albums of all time,Im a die hard Sabbath fan and this Album rocks! Not a fan of Tony I's ego though

  • Iommi is still the man, can u play like him?

  • vaya temazo es una pena que en españa no sean tan conocios¡

  • I love the intro..it reminds me of the Judas Priest sound. Glen Tipton K.K Downing..

  • nightgoat99 wake up! Ozzy could never deliver what your hearing! Shivers? you better take a shower and wipe off the bitch sweat you got from your last Jonas Brothers show.HaHaHa a shower? gay ass.ooooh, I gotta cleanse myself after watching a cheesy video from the 80's. J off.

  • Ian Gillian is one the greatest vocalist i ever heard, and i love this album a lot as well as all black sabbath before this!

  • Oh man...!I have to buy me that lp "born again"!This is fucking "The purest stoner" i have heard for a while. The live version who is out here on you tube,(from Rockpalast?)soundes more sabbat than anything i have heard before. And with Bev Bevan from elo on drums..!?I knew it.,elo is evil.. :) Peace

  • This video is fucking weird...but awesome

  • I always like this album - I don't care what anyone says - this lineup was excellent.

  • Whats with the homoerotic ketchup-guzzling? This video made me want to go take a shower [shivers].They sure fell fast after Ozzy was gone. Iommi is still the man, though.

  • The Dio Years were good too. After he left, not so much.

  • Dude, that's not true. You're missing some good tunes from the Tony Martin era. Check out "When Death Calls" on Youtube, then thank me later.

  • Don`t forget `bout GEEZER BUTLER`s bass-line!

    "Fundamental"!

  • shotglass+rum+zero the hero=killer vacation!!!!!!!!!!!! crank it up fuckers

  • amen 2 dat dude!!!

  • hey guys, check out my version of zero the hero, its between the original song and the Cannibal Corpse version, /watch?v=0QyuIu3sA58, i wish you like it

  • great tune and a good album for the collection

  • i´ve seen this concert twice: at Cow Palace, San Francisco, in January 1984, and at the Palace in Albany, in February. That was amazing.

  • I seen this concert(on acid) I swore Ian gillan was the devil lol..........

  • FUCKING WOW!

  • The beginning of that song is heavy. Great Riff. The `tritone` works.Iommy for ever!

  • sabbath meets gillan in 1983!great stuff!

"zero the hero" is heavy as fuck! spark one up to this track!!! love the heavy sabbath groove!!

  • ho is the singer?

  • Ian Gillan, at this time formerly of Deep Purple, and in the present, currently of Deep Purple

  • This song was about Ozzy and is what largely snapped him out of his funk....(drug addiction).......Black Sabbath's way of getting through to their fallen brother

  • That's pretty cool!!! thanks for the info

    METAL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I gotta get that album!

  • this song is a classic.but you gotta admit that the cannibal corpse cover of this song is also classic

  • the guitar solo is my favorite sabbath solo. this song reminds me of halloween since its so creepy. i get chills just hearing it.

  • i think born again is the best sabbath album without ozzy,

  • who was the drummer on this album and what is he doing now ?

  • Bill Ward returned from a lengthy hiatus to record the Born Again album, but he lapsed into alcoholism again upon completion of the recording and was unable to tour. Bev Bevan took over drumming duties for the tour. I believe it's Bev Bevan in this video as well, but I'm not certain.

  • yes it is Bev in the video

  • Love this record!!! Is one of the best Black Sabbath records ever made. There is something about this song. Loved it live in 1983!!!

  • damn...this makes me feel old when I remember the last time I heard it...

  • classic!

    epic!

  • This album is so fucking underappreciated.Trashed,Disturbing The Priest,Zero The Hero and Born Again are as good as anything they've ever done. And Gillan,s voice fucking shreds.

  • SABBATH KICKS ASS!

  • Born Again is definitly my favorite Sabbath album. Zero, Trashed, Keep it warm & Born Again are the tracks I prefer. Dio, Tony Martin & wonderfully great Ian Gillan were my favorite frontman when it comes 2 Black Sabbath. The problem I have with the Ozzy-era is the poor quality of the early recordings. It's only with Ozzy's Speak of the devil that I started to appreciate these great songs

  • Tony Iommi is a god of guitar

  • Giilam does it almost as good as Ozzy

  • I think gillan and dio are better singers but I like ozzy era sabbath much more. This song is pretty kickass though.

  • great song! love the cannibal corpse cover as well.

  • ha, fuck yea!

  • classic song YES!

  • ozzy 4 life mallates basureros

you guys suck if us say ozzy n sabbath dnt kick ass n maybe dio!!!!

  • zero the hero

  • Wait, I'm sorry; is that Al Franken?

  • So that's hitler, Frankenstein, & the nerd all together...god, this creeped me out so much when I was a kid. Awesome song. Thanks

  • as goofy & budget as this video is, they're obviously trying to say something... they're intelligent musicians..........

  • Ozzy is that your dad with horn-rimmed glasses? Redneck conspiracy #13: You're kid looses his/her virginity before

his/her parents do to a sabbatical goat. Retirement - you mean consummation.....

    "Why are we waiting...ahem....?"

  • Well shrimpy thats your opinion. Of course I listened to "the Dio years" that was a silly question. I just like Ozzy and Ian better.

  • Are these scenes from a movie?

  • No Its Black sabbath's music video!

  • I personally thought Dio was never a good fit in Black Sabbath anyway. Ian Gillian was way better replacement for Ozzy. If that was possible.

  • completely false!

if u ever listened to Black Sabbath "the Dio Years" you'd never say that..

  • u must Listen to The hole Heaven and hell album to see why Ronnie fits. dont think of ronnie trying to be "Ozzy" cuz he didnit want to be OZZY he wanted to be Ronnie and he did that. think of it more like he tryed to fit in with Iommi. and he did.

  • Well I agree with that!! Well said brother!!

  • 80s tryout with Ian Gillan, interesting song because it's a blend of Deep Purple and Sabbath.

  • damn that's a sick ass song... i think it would have sounded better with Ozzy but its still great.. cannibal corpse did an awesome job with the cover!!!!

  • asskickingrooooooooooooove

  • This is so fucking evil man.

  • HAHAHAHAHA

u have got to be shittin me

  • It was a compliment >_>

  • hahah yeah but this isnt evil compared to other videos out there

  • I used to hide from my friends that I really love this album. They took it as a sacrilege for the Ozzy-fronted Sabbath but then I hear that even Ozzy loved this album. what a mean piece of work! Born again forever!!!

  • yeah two of the reasons Ozzy liked this album was

    1. He was friends with Ian

    2. it was the first Sabbath record not to have Dio on it (He hated Dio with a passion)

  • The OZ hated Dio? Never knew that - You got any more info as to why?

  • the reason Ozzy and Dio hated each other was simply, Ozzy hated Dio because Dio replaced him in Sabbath and Dio hated Ozzy because during the first and second tour, Ozzy had a dwarf on stage which he called Ronnie (he was making fun of Dio because he was short). Funny thing about that, during the Gillan era of Sabbath, they did the same exact thing that Ozzy did, they had a midget run around on stage, until the midget hurt/killed himself falling off the huge stonehenge set sabbath had on stage.

  • That is funny as hell! Typical Ozzy!

  • to bad its dio eh

  • ha well Bleve it or not in a Intvewe with Ronnie he said that ozzy Like ronnie back when he was in Rainbow. they even have a photo of them selfs on black sabbath site..

  • ZEEEERO THE HEROOOOOOO !

  • I need to get this on Vinyl!

  • Ian is the greatest rock singer ever. and he was the best replacement for Ozzy. they should have held on to him.

  • they couldn't keep Ian because the MKII lineup of Deep Purple was offered big money for a reunion.

  • Last comment was response to SBPStudio. To cxhxrxixsishere: Ian Gillan is kicks ass

  • I remember this damn i was13 then Killer!!!!!

  • best video for Halloween

  • What are you talking about? Ian is one of the best metal singers ever. He may not have fit in Black Sabbath but with Deep Purple he was and still is amazing

  • Of course not, he's miles away from them, one of the greatest singers in rock history. Just listen to him now.

  • I bet that this video was called "scary", "Creepy" or somethin' back in '83/'84. BS rules!

  • one of those zombiemans looks and acts like hitler Oo

  • love the shite video!

  • pretty wicked morbid video..suits the song well! Bought this alb on vinyl when i was 12 in musikcentralen in hudiksvall!

  • All forms of Black Sabbath are great in their own way. No matter the singer, the band ROCKS!!!

  • Finally someone who gets it!! Yes, Ian Gillian was not your prototypical Sabbath singer. He was not Ozzy or Dio. But this still rocks.

  • What???????

    0_o

  • And I don't.

  • You better, he's about to become president and lead the free world

  • I hope so.

  • yur a tool!

  • what's with the deep purple tag?o.O

  • The singer, Ian Gillan, was in Deep Purple.

  • It would be cool to see the Oz Man front this

  • why this album isnt loved is completely beyond me

  • It is a good album, just you can never beat any of the stuff with Ozzy.

  • I disagree, I fully appreciate all eras

  • cannibal corpse cover is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol

  • "great song from fantastic album"

    HELL YEAH!

  • yeah kid whatever

  • What's this supposed to even be about? this doesn't have anything to do with the lyrics!

  • I think perhaps it might be a commentary on politicians, and the ultra rich. I mean (as a current example) we know that president baby bush didn't become the president on his merit - W and his kind are born into success because the evil few at the top take good care of each other. Notice the guy that looks like Hitler?

  • It's about a playboy, according to wiki. Awesome song, though.

  • The Born again album was the heaviest album Black Sabbath made. They rock!

  • who is that on vocals?..can't be dio?...

  • Ian Gillan

  • hmmm..whats he from?

  • Deep Purple.

  • thanks

  • check out some deep purple from 74 coverdale is sick.

  • they made the perfect person, lets make him president, now that would be change

  • Nice clip go Ozzy you Devil

  • this video is disturbing in the way chainsaw massacre was. i miss videos like this. we are in the end times. britney and that shit is in the charts. ugh!!!

  • you are so fucking right!!!!!!!!

im 15 from greece and im listening to this real music not the todays bullshits!!!!!!!

  • BLACK SABBATH GIA PANTA RE!!!!!!!!!

  • Ghay!

  • The main riff of this song, seems to come from a morgue, Iommi is the metal-riff God, long live for him!!!!

  • evil tony is the man rather here great riffs then wack off lead guitars and tony had great leads too

  • bar none one of the all time best guitar riffs ever concieved!!!!! Rock that shit Iommi

  • Cool. But that didn´t do me well... I just had something to eat.

  • Fuck you.

  • im black. i own every sabbath album, i play bass in a band, i listen to nothing but metal, why do we have to stick to rap and hip hop? that was a rascist comment really. cant believe u could be that ignorant.

  • you know, actually a lot of black people respect metal bands, dmx, busta rhymes, both fans of ozzy and sabbath... Not to mention ice-t and the whole body count thing. As a matter of fact i think you should shut your fucking face you fucking racist pig, is that clear? faget

  • I luv every permutation of sabbath, be it Ozzy, Dio, or Gillian. Its all great!

  • Ah, Zero The Hero. This is heavy metal at its pinnacled best. Iommi is the master of the metal rift, and this ONE defines it by way of its true essence, and not simply mere taste.

  • omg fuuck gillan Ozzy and dio were the best things that ever happened 2 sabbeth

  • i agree - except Dio was better than Ozzy. and gillan almost sucks more than martin. almost...!

  • Some albums just have the aura of cocaine use to them,to me this one just drips with it. GREAT ALBUM! Love Ian Gillan.

  • Too freaky!

  • Coward my ass...just didn't realise a black guy would be into Black Sab. LOL

  • i just dont like seeing that word. it IS offensive u know. i can take the joke if i knew him personally. j.r. dobbs can go sit on a horses dick if u ask me tho. but yep im black, if i have to post a video to prove my point then i will.

  • perfect song

  • man i wish ian gillian would do one more tour with sabbath it would be way better thennheaven n hell

  • Ozzy rocks!!!Gillan...... hmm no rocks:D

  • Fuck you Ian gillan is a awesome singer. Sabbath+Gillan=rock

  • u can suck my black cock for that comment

  • I just thought rhymed.

  • its not funny tho, im black.

  • Well then I take it back.

  • they ruined a good blaxk sabbath certert

  • Gillian is ok... but they really shoulda changed their name by this point.

  • Hehe, I'm sure it's been unintentional, but Enter Sandman stole the intro riff & Paradise City kinda steals the verse. ^^

  • cannibal corpse cover hero the zero is fucking awesome that cover

  • word up

  • Yep this was one of their best albums and yep, Tony Iommi wrote the book on the riff.

However - the Born Again videos look a bit bargain basement... Beavis & Butthead would have a field day with these!

  • Good song. Is it me or does the mustached man look a bit like Robert Carlyle portrying Hitler?

  • Oh and I spotted Christopher Walken, Mel Smith (old English comedian) and Buddy Holly.

  • yeaaaah the best song of black sabbath 1. born again 2. master of reality 3. mob rules 4. heaven and hell 5. paranoid 6. technical ecstasy 7. sabotage 8. sabbath bloody sabbath 9. volume 4 10 dehumanizer 11. never say die
  • ooohh 666th comment! >:)

  • Ian... follows Ozzy & Ronnie.... and comes up with THE HEAVIEST SABBATH of ALL! Thank the Gods for Deep Purple y'all! ...and!! the best part of this story is, this came out in the 80's! ...if anyone remebers the 80's, THEY SUCKED BIG StinkY BALLS! ...so, Wha'cha gonna do wha'cha gonna do brotha?

  • THe song kicks ass, the album kicks ass, the live show with Bev Bevan kicks ass!!! I know Ward was the drummer on the material, but if you ever heard any of the live bootlegs floating around, Bevan was as heavy as any drummer couldbe, considering he was playing that ELO garbage. Everyone makes fun of this video and Trashed, I think they are very representative of the early 80's so if you dont like it, then dont watch it so much!

  • Tony Iommi, god of riffs!

  • Lol. Here i am tryin' to quote Ozzy Osbourne, and there wasn't one fuck word! But he did say what i said he said, in essence.

  • Tony Iommi is the master of the metal rift. Ozzy, after he left the band under bad terms, said, though he had said a lot of heavy shit about Iommi, he still admits the guy can't be touched by anyone else as a metal guitarist. You think he's gonna run out, Ozzy said, but he keeps coming up with these evil demonic rifts!

  • great album a hidden treasure

  • THE most underrated Sabbath album ever.. visionary sound and songs.. to bad they pretty much hated each other...
