i think you have got a god shape for this model, im not keen on the see-through texture. But its a good model, well done. I have made a steam train on sketchup aswell you could take a look at that :)
That is one reason I put the wrench on top of the steam chest and the star on the front of the cylinders... helps one to get oriented to where you ended up!
No offense taken. :-) Actually, this is kind of like some "toy" steamers (like the Aster Mikado) where the throttle is on the backhead and the steam delivery pipe is used as a stay for both the back and front tube sheets as drawn here.
This started as a very simple drawing of a valve chest and cylinder... & it just kept growing because of how simple it was to add things in Google's SketchUp.
yeah i did notice how the throttle was like some live steamer trains models lol,but i got lost and confused at the cylinders wich got me stumped becuas eon the exuas stroke i wa slike,wait wtf,i could see were and thats wer ei got losty i kept replayign it to see it looks liek you made an error there :P
