yeah i have a 68 Bug with NO mods its orignal with 4000 miles on it its a nice little car and im only 17 and i have a licence BUT my Bug is a automatic transmission 5 speed and now it has 93456710 miles on the odometer since i drive it for nights and nice street nights when i still have that 1200 CC engine running it has orignal wheels and hubcaps saying VW on them and the engine had a crank i coulding get the starter back up so i installed a 1949 Bug crank.

It's sickening to say that through out the years the Government were looking for reasons to stop this car from being sold in the US. Apparently crazy good MPG back in the 60's till now tend to piss the auto industry off. I believe they even had the pipe bumper removed because they claimed that it was a safety concern.

Nice gallery of Bugs. B-) And GForceOfGroveStreet , be honest, the Beetle was never a great car. Yes, reliable, yes characterful, yes, cool because it was allways affordable so millions of us owned one or more and they look funny. But they're not too practical, not fast, handle really badly if you try to go fast, cold in winter, no air con for summer.......... I still love em, and have had 2 Bugs, 1 van and 1 camper.

But they benefit greatly from funky colors and being modified. ;-) :-P

Love the content. I don't know if it is my computer, but the movement seems choppy, a little distracting. Could be youtube's way of rendering it, but if you can smooth out the movements it wouldn't be so distracting. Also, a different second song would have added to your great video.
