Never broke a pick but bent some of southords it was my fault though slipped.....old school southord max set with metal handles are pretty good, but pricey. Of course good old majestic pick set spring steel might be best.
Not got any sparrows bro, but did snap a long curved storm hook yesterday while picking and not used that much.... seems that the two companies may be slipping a tad with quality of metal or workmanship, reason I say that is because I have had a FRIEND!!! who purchased from Storm and one pick was not upto scratch on viewing with the eye, they sent a replacement and an extra....
Could be same with sparrows m8 as all machine done
email them and tell them? maybe they will send u another set if u send these back? its not like ur a new picker either, u been picking a while and not abusing the picks, they should as u say bend gradually, not just break in the same spots
Ouch!! That sucks!! Which set did you get? I was actually looking into a pick set from sparrows because I heard awesome reviews about them...people saying they don't break opr bend their picks and such, and now...I see a broken pick...hmmmmmm...

that sucks! my sparrow hook picks have lasted months now, one is slightly bent but thats cause im a bit heavy handed
