You're right, it is going to hurt, but I've watched a video on how it's done. Their butt hits the mutt before the leg touches the opponent, so a lot of the shock is absorbed before impact is made.

IMO his best legdrop was against Paul Orndorf during their cage match. Orndorf actually makes it look like that feeble finisher busts him open with some tactful blading. Anyway in either case it's not Hogan selling that move. Hogan: one of the worst wrestlers of all time. Only Hogan would do a back-rake with gloves on. I love Vince Russo's shoot promo where he fires Hogan on pay-per view after Hogan refused to job to Jarret.
