  • Such is the magic of marketing hype. These watches could be mass produced using modern assembly methods and sold for a few hundred bucks apiece and still turn a tidy profit. The reason why they are so pricey is because of the marketing involved. Too many people with more money than brains will pay six figures for a watch because of 'handmade' or 'in-house' movements. This is silly. Homage makers like Alpha, Orient, and Parnis prove that you dont need to spend big money to get this style.

  • $175,000 US dollars. just called, holy Christ yeah right!

  • good job....

    I like It...:-)

  • well , with that money i could buy a lambo ... but wait i shouldn't be able to know what time is it

  • i randomly typesd this in

  • i do admit i love the iner meccanism....tho... never would ware one!!! is ridiculous...but if they made a wall watch...i'll seriously consider it!!!

  • The funny thing is that watch brands like these are the epitome of artisans. They collect pre-orders before the watch exists, make very few and labour tirelessly over the design. You pay for design not materials in a watch like this. To buy one is to be a patron of the arts. Sure, only rich people can be patrons but that's how it has always been. You gotta spend money to make something beautiful and these beauties wouldn't exist if no one was willing to buy them.

  • when the first pointer with number 1 reaches the 60min the next already has the number 2 and starting at 1min...

    very nice watch

  • Shexy......

  • Lot of people been guzzling their Hateorade on this comment string. Yes, it's a really friggin expensive watch, yes, maybe some Oil Princes and Russian tycoons will be rocking these, and yes, maybe some of them will hang this heavy machinery on their wrist to compensate for the light machinery hangin off their waists: still, many more will buy because they find it to be an exquisitely beautiful work of art that they themselves as collectors are going to be thrilled to have. Plus, the money th

  • looks ugly as shit. of course its automatic its a bloody watch. rather buy a house/car THAN A WATCH ROFL

  • Get a repilca for $200.

  • @1222moses Are you serious?

  • Outstanding....

  • The flies in my apartment beat their wings with better accuracy than this shit.

  • Amazing!

  • I love the marketing on these super expensive watches, its very interesting how a company can make a watch simply to promote it as being so awesome you need a graphical 3 minute movie to justify how awesome it is.

  • @kingmanted too much uncalled hate there..... every custom watch is unique and admirable for it's mechanics....movies are there just because you can't tear apart a 100.000 $ watch to see what's inside of it.

  • The only reason it's so fucking expensive, is because they had to jack up the price to be able to afford this animation.

  • It's expensive for a reason.

  • @topographicoceans11 samething i said

  • @funkmaster100

I agree with most of what you are saying but one thing... What you might see as ugly someone else might find beautiful. Personally I feel that rolex makes ugly and boring watches. But that does not stop millions of other people to think of rolex as the pinnacle of watch making beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder thank God. If it were not we would all be driving the same car, wearing the same clothes, dating the same girl, walking the same dog and so on...

  • For the price, it BETTER be made of tiny nanobots able to shape themselves to my will... Just another "High End" manufacturer catering to rich Russian Oligartchs and anyone else who thinks anything assigned a mega-buck price tag automatically makes it something worth having.

Their watch designs are ugly as sin, mechanically less than impressive, use nothing extraordinary in materials or technology... but still have a premium price tag. FAIL.

  • is this a watch? how can I read the time?

  • very impressive... i am speechless

  • If I buy two, do I get a discount?

  • Its a nice and artsy watch.. and a cool presentation.. but I couldn't justify 100k on something that is functionally equivalent to a fashion accessory...

    bling bling!

I'd actually be scared of getting my arm cut off wearing something like that. My arm is more valuable to me than 100k.. sorry!

  • Wow , take a look at that @ 2:15 , 9-11-01.

  • 12 people use their cell phones as watches!

  • artistically interesting, yes. Functionally, FAIL. Brave move accusing the minute and hour hands of being able to be improved on for instant at a glance readability of time. Every watch I've ever seen with unconventional presentation has failed to show the time as readily as a conventional dial.

  • Out of there God dam minds for that price. This watch had better make velvet ropes part champagne fall from the sky and doves fly out of my arse

  • impressive work, but they could have made it look nicer.

    its quite ugly

  • Urwerk 203 também é fantástico!

  • another example of our wonderful, beautiful human capabilities shown in watch engineering :)

  • Comment removed

  • MSRP: $225,000.00

  • ill be happy just to watch it ,thanks to youtube

  • Seems like the UR-203 is out now ..

  • Definitely not designed by a blind watchmaker.

  • one was on ebay a while back for over sixty thousand pounds.

One of my all time favourite designs. Sheer amazement.

  • Just love it, something special!!!!!Great design and good tecnology....!!!!

  • this kind of innovation in a mechanical watch should be worth upwords of 200k

  • I think it is.

  • What's the name of music

  • anybody know the music in the background?

  • They really need to create special watches like this. I do like simple nice watches like IWCs and other high-end watches, but I think we(or watch collectors) should look for something special like this one :D

  • quiero uno!

  • Ganate la loteria y me avisas, me regelas uno de Navidad, jaja.

  • Urwerk are nice watches but i think have missed the niche market of Patek, Hublot, RM, FM, AP and GP.

    Nice watches

  • they stole the idea from the opus v!

  • stolen)) maybe you forgot but urwerk creared opus V

  • idiot! felix made opus v

  • its a fucking watch!

  • no!! its a fucking urwerk!!

  • hahahahahaha, it's to leet to be called just a watch. but still, id prefer other things, but if i did have bilions of moneys i wuld buy i redeculously expencive watch just for the 'ness' of it

  • bit too "transformers" for me

  • The 202 is my favorite watch. I would give about anything to have one. Great video.

  • How the hell do you tell time on that thing? And yet another watch we will never have... Maybe.

  • Soon they will copy it with the same technology and you will get it for about 1000 bugs.

It is a nice watch, but as costfull as a house and the movement about the as complicated like a Lemania 5100.

100.000 bugs are a little bit too much I think (at least for me).

But who cares, I don't have so many money, so I will never buy one.

  • amazing technology for amazing chosen human

  • AMAZING. what a Time Machine.! love the Video. is it really 100K ?!!!. i thought i was a bit less than 50K.

STILL waaaaayyyyyyyy out of my reach. maybe one day if i hit the LOTO.

  • brilliant :)

  • wow that was an amazing video!

  • amazing technology !!

  • that watch is 80,000 grand i found one for sale and you have to learn how t read it the first dial is the hour hand

  • Complete sexiness... damn that watch is beyond awesome, at $100,000+ anyone who's somebody will get one, only 200 made, just so u know...hurry the hell up people!!

  • ...and i still dont know how it works..

  • I'd like to know how expensive the clip was.

  • Can I get this for under 10k? Fuck rolex, this is my new watch!

  • why does it look so similar to the harry winston opus V

  • Urwerk is an horologist (watchmaker), while Harry Winston is a jeweler. See their websites and you'll instantly know the difference. H.Winston watches are beautiful enhancements made to movements that were designed by horologists. That said... this particular star movement actually looks pretty different from the Opus V to me. At least, I would _not_ guess it to be the starting point for the H.Winston customization...

  • just for 172000$ any one like to get it

  • Give me one of the ten!

  • which studio made the video? the 3D is sweet.

  • Wow. This makes me want to wear a watch again!

  • 100k+ watch, I doubt it!!!

  • tru!!!, 1 can buy a freking rolex or sumthing...

  • I like the soundtrack(and the watch of course), anybody knows if it's custom made for the video?

  • That is amazing. Hats off.

But my favorite is still the Monaco V4

  • Wow...this watch is crazy!

  • Insanely hot

  • Holy FUCK! I want one of those!

  • Good LUCK! They only made ten of them!

  • Why is everybody hating on this video? If you don't have the brain power or the money to buy and use this watch then stfu and go back to ur swatches.

  • Ummm... Did I miss something here? what's the point of this video? Other than they can spend a lot of money on CGI.

  • cgi is for the slow masses, my watch is "looking up" and it has always worked for me.

  • Holy smokes! What an amazing looking watch. What a teaser video. Too bad it costs a small fortune to buy one. Spookie you mentioned I-Reel made the song, any idea where I can purchase the music?

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome!

  • This video is everything but informative

  • I'm blown away by this watch i still have no clue on how to read the watch

  • By the looks of it only one of the three pointer points at the 60 minute sector of the watch the pointer gives the minutes and the hour is atop the pointer over the minutes sector

  • i visited their forums. they says the music was done by i-reel, a design/ad firm that made the video. yeah... original music too lol

  • what is the name of this song?

  • this song has been made for the video : myspace/newoldstockprod

  • ohh... that is incredible watch

  • cool dremel ad

  • Yeah - I really want to know of other music like this.

  • Does anyone know who did this song?
