I don't like Giuliani but I have to agree. Until I see this entire interview I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. However; if he really is blaming the troops for the general failure of Iraq (and he wins the republican nomination) the democrats would be stupid not to run this clip over and over. Of course they could just copy what the Bush campaign did, to every opponent they ever faced, and play it even if it's out of context.

I saw the whole interview and he did indeed blame the troops for not finding weapons of mass destruction.

That being said, you're right about the Democrats. if Giuliani is the nominee and the democrats then do NOT run this clip over and over again, they deserve to lose.

And we deserve a President who holds himself so far above the average soldier, which--when you think about it--will just be business as usual, more of the same.

Looked at it, total bullshit. The Pentagon and the White House knew the location of almost every single conventional munitions dump (or suspected sites) in Iraq. If specific units had been ordered to capture specific sites they would have done so and held those sites until they were relieved; they didn't ignore their orders, they never received those orders. You can't say we have the best troops in the world and then turn around and blame them for not following simple orders.
