I have seen this interview and it makes me sad in many parts because he's clearly high in bits of this. He was a teenager when he did this and he was saying lines or responses that he thought that he thought the viewers (mainly teenage girls) wanted to hear. He was being filmed and basically had to "act the part". People think that they "know" an actor based on interviews and their movies and we don't, especially in a staged video when someone was a teenager.

corey haim was only a teenager here, he probably thought he would be a big actor in years to come, but he wasn't. he was gullible, and didn't know himself what the future held. he got into drugs, and fucked his life up, but it is a shame, i buzz off lost boys.

I have seen this interview and it makes me sad in many parts because he's clearly high in bits of this. He was a teenager when he did this and he was saying lines or responses that he thought that he thought the viewers (mainly teenage girls) wanted to hear. He was being filmed and basically had to "act the part". People think that they "know" an actor based on interviews and their movies and we don't, especially in a staged video when someone was a teenager.

Yes, he had talent, but he was someone who had some serious problems which lead to his drug addiction. We don't really know why he became an addict or why he couldn't stay clean, so we can't judge him or his actions.

He was her youngest child, her only son, whom she loved & she was battling cancer & not doing well.

This interview was NOT the result of his dependency at the time. The bitter truth is that Corey epitomized "stupid actor". Not all thespians are unintelligent. However, Corey was three days dumber than dirt. He attempts to put sentences together to sound articulate, to sound intelligent. At times he talks as if he thinks he's Marlon Brando or Sir Anthony Hopkins. Truth be told, Haim was dumber than a bag of $2 hammers and I actually found more comedy in this video than cautionary tale.

If you didn't know, he actually could act. He was good at it. But he took the drug Soma which relaxes your vocal chords so much that you can barely speak. - RX drugs are an epidemic in this country. As long as doctors make money & get "favors" off of prescribing certain drugs, people with addiction problems will always be able to get powerful drugs by going to several doctors, just like Haim did. They can be as easy to obtain as alcohol and are much deadlier. - RIP COREY HAIM.

What a washed out sore loser Corey Haim was. I never met the guy, never saw his movies, but b/c he decided to live his life as a trashy drug addict, and had a great family + friends, I have very little sympathy for him. All the help he got didn't do a thing, which tells me only one thing, he CHOSE to be on drugs. Even worse, he's setting a bad example to everyone out there, kids especially. RIP = Rest In Pain.

He made this video in the early 90,s when he was about 18 yrs old.... He was molested by movie producers at 15 and basically never had a childhood cause he worked nonstop for his parents fortune! reality is so different from movies. Whe i was young i pictured all movie stars as living wonderful lifes but when you grow up you realize they are just people who act in front of a camera and are no different to anybody else apart from earning lots of money for the movie. What a tragic loss. He was such a talented actor and so many people didn't realize it. The fact that he was a teen icon in the 80's was not his choice. The media made him like that. He was obviously on pills by listening to some of his answers to the questions that were apparently being asked, like " i'm trying to get into the habit of picking up a book and writing my feelings down, not my thoughts, but my feeling down about things, and hopefully I will be moving towards the writing and directing of things"......and his message to fans, "to stay on course...there's a lot of feelings when you're growing up and if you take things slow everything will be answered"

Still its so weird to see this, how he tells young kids to do something, then goes and does the total opposite himself, I dont mean this as criticism, just an observation.
I bet he didnt go one day since he turned 12 without pills, no wonder he aged so fast, I am sure he could have looked just as good at 39 as he did here if he had lived a healthy life.

This was one of the most self-indulgent, arrogant pieces of garbage I've ever seen. How anybody thought it would be a good idea to release this publicly is beyond me. The only part where Haim even seemed halfway sober was the last 30 seconds or so. Having gone through addiction problems myself, I know it's hard, but people saying Hollywood bailed on Corey are mistaken. Haim threw away his own career because he couldn't stay straight long enough to work, drugs were more important from day 1.
