He wasn't greedy, he was forced to take those extra spins from Robert, because the rules say that any spins that were passed to a player from another player's Earned column must be taken until either they're all gone, or they hit a Whammy, in which case the remaining Passed spins will become their Earned spins to do as they please.

And also..the player playing the Passed spins can convert them into Earned spin by hitting "cash + One Spin" spaces, and in the 2nd round, there are a bunch of those.
