  • My 20th time to watch this. Goosebumps and tears.

  • @fridnetha Me too.

  • @Kiyraesyn ~ Your description reads "directed by Billy Wyler". Are you confusing William Wyler with Billy Wilder? If you want to call Mr. Wyler by his famous nickname, it was "Willie," not "Billy".

  • @edwardjames50 It was actually the nickname used by Shirley Maclaine that I was referring to--but yes, that would be William Wyler. I can go ahead and change it if it's that much of a bother. :)

  • @edwardjames50 I will change it. As I said, Shirley Maclaine referred to him as Billy a few times, maybe that was in error.

  • @edwardjames50 The change has been made. Thanks again.

  • OMG. The editing of video makes Martha Dobie a non-fictional one. I feel worse about her. Shirley Maclaine did a good job in this one.

  • @fridnetha I'm glad. That was its purpose. Thank you !

  • Thank you kindly, please share this !!

  • Very sad...I remember this from so many years ago and then in school I found these same kinds of people and then in the workforce and then in the "Christian" community .....And then I married a wonderful person from Egypt and there I found unconditional love, respect, and understanding for the first time in my life...Thanks for posting this ....others should see it

  • This video makes me wanna be nice to people :o)

  • @hithr3000 I'm glad ! Best of luck to you !

  • Wow!!! This is really Good Thank You :)!!!

  • @princessGabrielle300 Thank you for having watched, and please share this with all of your friends and relatives. I have been running this since before the whole anti-bullying thing got started.

  • One of the most heartbreaking films in American cinema. Did you compose and/or perform the background music for this? Worthy of the film.

  • @clenbullard No, I did not--unfortunately. Craig Armstrong is the composer. :)

  • Magnifique ,merci pour ce beau moment :-)

  • @Pougneugnagneu Pas du tout, merci d'avoir regardé !

  • I know exactly how martha feels this is one of my fav movies it is hard for all the women right now and the women who still suffer and feel sum sort of pain that is unexplainable to the love they feel for another women i honor each and everyone of u and fight for gay rights and to help anyone in need who feels this way

  • @bustitwydeopen365 Too true. I am sure we all appreciate that support !

  • YES I AM SURE THAT I WOULD FEEL THE SAME WAY.

BUT UNFORTUNATELY I COULDN'T RAISE THIS VIDEO.

BUT SUICIDES SHOULD ALWAYS TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE THE FINAL

THROW. THE SUNSHINES TOMORROW COCKS !!

  • ...This was so sad. It made me feel horrible. I was in that position once. I was younger, and I was going to kill myself because my mother told me that god hates the gays. She tried to scare me into being straight...That didn't turn out too well. If you're gay and hiding it, and you're reading this, come out. Really and truly, it is the most magical experience of your life. You'll never feel that much love. Stop letting yourself be hurt. Take control. I love you, this video was magical Thank you

  • Touching video. I love Ur use of the shadowy effects, it was very moving.

  • @nubian68 Thank you ! It would appreciated if you would share this with others in response of recent suicides taking place within the LGBTQ community ! Cheers, K. R. King

  • Thank you, darling ! I appreciate your compliment and please, pass this on to others.

  • @Kiyraesyn You are absolutely wonderful! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents. It would be an honor just to walk down the streets where you live.

  • @Blonde4Beach Look who's talking ! You're quite wonderful yourself, miss ! <3

  • Isn't it strange ? She, as in the ficticious character, is not real, and yet...she seems to be alive anyway.

I invite you to share this video with friends and family. :)

  • This clip made me cry. Thank you for posting it though Kiyraesyn - it is very kind of you to do this for my Martha, even though she is not real, and for all the other GLTBs who are suffering from results of prejudice.

  • @Ilovecats112233 My pleasure. I would appreciate it if you could share this with others. It was part of a campaign I started several years ago. You know, before "IT GETS BETTER" began. Anyway, I hope this still touches people. It seems to. I have performed scenes and monologues from the original play at least four times, that is how much it has moved me.

  • i get goosebumps, and it saddens me too much. Thanks for sharing, I love the background music.

  • Thank you for your reply..and please, pass this video on to other friends...

All feedback is greatly appreciated !

    Cheers,

    Kat

  • Thank you all for your kind compliments. I am glad someone noticed. This is sort of an experimental psa/ad campaign to support acceptance of lgbts...and to warn against suicide.

Thank you once again, and we can do something...please pass this video on to everyone you know...so that they will be reminded of just how precious life...and love...is..

  • Great vid! No doubt Children's Hour is a lifetime classic. I don't know why is not son well known. We gotta do something about it!!!

  • rachel rocks!
