I think what would be monumentally cool is that the Rollings Stones should go back to Altamont today and do ANOTHER free concert. But this time do it right. With state of the are staging, sound and lighting and broadcasted live over TV and the internet. Real concert security and organization. Then they should pay tribute on the big screen to the people who lost their lives there for whatever reason. I think this would give closure to the situation and just really be cool and well broadcasted.

From what I was reading a few moments ago, the Altamont concert happened on December 6, 1969, while the "let it bleed" LP was released on December 5, 1969. Is this information accurate?
