Did you see her smile near the end? her smaller jaw structure indicates she's around that age. They like to use girls that young because of 2 reasons.
1. They usually have flawless skin
2. They have perfect extremely feminine features to accentuate with the right makeup. i.e large eyes, high forehead, small nose, fuller lips in proportion to the face.
the model doesnt look very happy at 2:38-2:48 she sorta looks like shes bored and is forcing a smile to put the blush on i dont blame her ..shes preety tho ...that lipsticks kinda dark but cute i suppose
i do think it is wrong to be expexted to wear make-up (but then i personally believe a person who can walk with confidence WITHOUT make-up thus makes themself beautiful) but i do wear makeup to make MYSELF feel better, i use it to cover up the scar that goes from above my lip right throuh it, and i use it to cover blemishes. And i don't think its that bad.
to hell with this. youth is beauty! she was damn cute without all that gunk. :/ a black and white drawing or sketch is no less beautiful and moving than a painting.
Its so crazy if you think about it. Really has anyone just stopped to THINK about how unfair it is, that we ask women to put make-up on their face and we don't require it of men?
How absolutely unfair is that? Its not even debatable! Its pure sexism staring everyone right in their faces! Literally!
I agree totally. Not only do we not need it though, its fucked up.
Just think about what that says to young women. That they're faces are not "as attractive" as men's without make-up. How horrible! And all the time it takes in the morning for women. Just 30 minutes every day dealing with make-up, adds up to 180 waking hours, or 15 days, doing something else.
Sorry to brake it to you but some woman are alot more attractive with makeup. It's just a choice and sacrifice of time that they can make for themselves. And sometimes men do put on makeup, Twisted Sister did it and they got rich!
You don't understand. It doesn't matter what you think. Its not right that they are expected to by men. If a woman wants to fine, but its wrong for men to say that women look more beautiful with makeup. That is sexist.
And no. Sorry to break it to you. Men don't wear make up. Soceity expects women to. Not men.
As a feminine girl who is attracted to girls, I find a girl to be more flawlessly beautiful with make-up. HOWEVER, if I genuinely like her, then I'm still as attracted to her with it on as I am when she's not wearing it.
I obviously have my standards of judgment--does that makes me sexist? Not being able to see the beauty of a person without the makeup is wrong, but come on. Well-done make-up usually makes one look less pockmarked and sickly and therefore unavoidably more attractive/beautiful.
No, that wouldn't make you sexist. Society also expects you to wear make-up also, so its a little different maybe.
Also, the message society is sending with make up is that we value the BRAINS of men and the LOOKS of women. Women look past men's looks all the time, and men should do the same. That can begin with men standing up for their mothers, their sisters and their daughters to a society that tells them they aren't pretty enough.
And sometimes women do makeup not for attract men but it's a hobby to collect and do the makeup. Just like I do. Who cares if those men like it or not...I like it and girls too
Natural isn't always better, she just looked good to begin with. A lot of girls out there don't and you would have noticed a larger difference on an uglier girl. However I do agree to a point, I don't like it when girls plaster on the makeup like some companies try to get you to do.
Why does everyone want to give themselves fake features. Seriously, does NO ONE like natural anymore? Isn't it so much better for people to see your face how it really is, and not have to worry about your makeup smudging every two seconds of the day?
Sure, but why settle for average? If there was a makeup for men that would make me look prettier, I'd use it - but for now, they all make you look gay.
I dont think they are giving her "fake" features, there only enhancing them, like her eyes...But yeah, i do agree that people today are to appearance obsessed.
Yeah I bought it but didn't like it so much. It could get a little crumbly and sometimes it felt like it was just sitting there on top, like a little too obvious and not blending it so well. Plus, I felt like I had to reapply all the time.
the "L" thing is Canadian..you can do it too..you just have to pout when you talk..then pretend like your salivating and trying not to drool..it's genetic..canadians can't help it..ain't you proud to be uhmerikin?..i shore am..
oh i have the same color of the mouse. the pink one the creme base eye shadow, but im using loreal liquid foundation but i guess maybelline and loreal are sisters company..
If just the t-zone is oily, that means you have combination skin. I have combination skin too, and liquid is actually, for me, the best. Then when it starts to get oily, I use oil absorbing sheets. But i don't put foundation on my entire face, just problem areas. Natural beauty is still the best, plus makeup is horrible for your skin, no matter what they say.
what that girl needs is some sleep cose altho she is gorgeos those black circles around her eyes are not that flattering & you casn't realy cover those up with makeup ;-/
Actually, the skin around the eye area is usually so delicate and thin for some ppl, that no matter how much they sleep, they always have dark circles.
i have horrible dark circles under my eyes too but i have gorgeous bright hazel eyes ..what makeup product would help cover it really well? (and that's cheap cost wise)
That woman's voice is kinda comical...or annoying, lol (-:

Loolee 3 years ago
Loolee,
Forget makeup for a second. Let's say men began expecting women to wear masks everywhere. Real masks.
What if some girls said "I like to wear masks". Would that make it ok that they have to? How would that make women feel about themselves?
So its not wrong that you put it on, but men should never expect it, and the media should not be reinforcing it.
