I love this video as I am a VW owner... I have a 71 and a 68. 71 is a drag bug 68 a baja. Piece of little known VW history. Neither Hitler or Ferdinand Porsche designed the VW. It was origianally designed by a Jewish engineer and on display in Germany where Hitler first saw it. Seeing it's potential he took the idea to Ferdinand Porsche and put it into mass production. Without giving credit to the actual designer to take credit himself along with Ferdinand Porsche.

hitler actually played a key role in designing the VW. he introduced the idea to Diamler-Benz and it eventually made its way to Porsche who produced the first Volkswagen's. volkswagen didn't "produce one type of vehicle for the germans in WWII", volkswagen was in fact brought about FOR the nazi party.
