hey spike boy i'm just starting to learn ASL like literally JUST starting. Do you have any advice or particular ways of learning that you feel would work best, i've always had a lot of trouble with learning new oral languages in past and am hoping that maybe ASL may be differnet. Any advice would be appreciated, you're videos are amazing and keep up the good work!
haha i like how you sound like a very positive resolvent type guy until when you tell me to kill myself haha. so eh good one, i hope you really grow up to be a good ehh sign language.. guy.. haha and i dont like coke. so that was probly the most ya got on me...
It's nice that you are wanting to do this to help people out in learning the beautiful language. I'm in college studing to be an American Sign Language Interpreter. However, I do have one complaint about your videos. Your white shirt really causes a visual distraction. I think you should probably make your room brighter and wear a color that allows people to see your signs better. For instance dark blue, black, etc. Thanks!
The videos have been informative so far. Videos are much easier to learn from than pictures.
Recommendations: Giving directions (chronological ordering, positional changes, distances, movement verbs like walk and drive, etc.), generic object description (size, texture, contours, etc.), person descriptions (body parts, clothes, etc.), types of food, animals and plants, communication (verbs like send and receive, nouns like email, letter, phone call, etc.).
i did actually if you put gay and ness together, its a magical word combination with words and suffix's, either tho i had i typo. im sorry to say, but your waisting your time
Hey man, this is really helpful; I just started working with two deaf people and need to communicate with them. I'm also checking out ASL browser often. Thanks.
Are thankyou and good.. the exact same hand movement or is there a slight difference somehow hun?? When you do either one, they both look the exact same.
Wow Wendy!! Um...how do i explain this by text. um...it depends on the angle of your hand. if you are saying thank you, its vertical to your face. good is horizontal. If that makes ANY sense at all
I'v been sooooo ill for the past few days. ugh! I hate flu's, especially when I have No one to cater to my needs. LOL!! Damn, I hate getting out of bed to fix my own chicken noodle soup. LOL!
I'll practice the movements proper with vertical/horizontal signs. THANKS DARLIN!
Another awesome video
